About this appAI proposal
Quietpane is a TV-first web viewer that runs as an app in the browser already on your Android TV. Send a link from your phone and the TV shows the page with ads, pop-ups and permission prompts removed, laid out for a remote and a big screen.
Pages are cleaned on our server before they reach the TV, so there is no extension to install and no pop-up permission to approve. Block rules are kept up to date for you, and you can allow a site if it breaks.
It is not a full replacement browser. Sites that need their original scripts, such as some logins or DRM video, open in a plain fallback view with a clear warning.

- Why this name
- A quiet pane of glass: the TV screen with the clutter taken off. Two plain words joined, easy to say across a room.

From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Quietpane runs on one household's TV and phone. Nothing it makes is sent to other people, so it reaches new customers through content, search and communities, not its own use.
- Do they become customers?
- Test whether people searching for TV ad blocking, or posting in Android TV forums, will try a free tier and pay for Plus. Word of mouth within households is possible but unproven.
- First customers
- Android TV owners who already browse the web on their TV and complain about pop-ups, found in Android TV and cord-cutting communities.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News and Reddit: Post a demo in threads on Android TV browsing and ask for testers who will try it for two weeks.
- Android TV forums and YouTube: Offer a free trial to creators who review TV boxes and streaming sticks.
- First milestone
- Fifty testers use it weekly for a month, and ten of them pay for Plus.
Why people already pay for this
- Public claimAndroid TV browser users struggle with pop-up management and lack native ad-blocking support
- Public claimUsers want ad-blocking functionality equivalent to uBlock Origin for Android TV browsing

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalRewriting pages on a server breaks many sites: logins, scripts, video players. A fallback view helps but may disappoint users who expect a full browser.
- PlatformThe PWA depends on a browser already on the TV. Some Android TV devices ship without a capable browser, or with weak D-pad support, so reach is limited.
- CommercialThe material shows only two public claims and one competitor. Demand beyond forum comments is unproven, and a native browser with real extensions would serve the same need better.
- RegulatoryProxying pages means handling users' browsing data and sites' content. Privacy terms are needed, and some sites may object to ad removal.
- DataProxy traffic costs bandwidth and compute, which could strain a free tier. Keep stored history minimal.
