What PWAS keeps about you, why, for how long, and what you can do about it. In short: only what running PWAS needs, no advertising, no data sold.

SWAGG INTERNATIONAL S.R.L. ("we") decides how your data is used on PWAS and is the controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Write to hello@pwas.dev about anything on this page.
Why: to provide the account you asked for (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, a contract with you).
Your votes and the weight they carry, what you follow and save, your comments, the evidence you submit, what you would use or pay on proposed apps, the feedback you send and the themes you support, the reports you file, your notifications and your settings. Your reputation is computed from these.
Comments, submitted evidence and feedback are shown to others as part of the discussion. Votes and answers on proposed apps are shown only as totals.
Why: to run the community you take part in (Article 6(1)(b)), and to keep votes fair and stop abuse, which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
We rank the opportunities in "For you" by your own votes, saves, follows and answers on proposed apps. This is profiling for your benefit: it is shown only to you, explained on the page, and turned off with one switch in Settings. It has no other effect on you.
To stop abuse we count actions per account and per network address: sign-in attempts, searches, feedback and similar. An address is kept only as a keyed hash inside these counters, which are deleted after two days. Changes made by admins are recorded in an audit log with a reason.
Why: our legitimate interest in a secure service (Article 6(1)(f)).
PWAS looks for software needs in public posts and listings, for example on Hacker News, GitHub and Empire Flippers, through their public interfaces and within their terms. We do not collect the authors' handles or profiles. We keep short quotes with a link to their source, so every claim can be checked; the full text we read is deleted 90 days after it was retrieved.
Why: our legitimate interest in analysing public statements about software needs (Article 6(1)(f)). If a quote of yours appears on PWAS and you want it removed, write to hello@pwas.dev.
AI models made by Anthropic (Claude) read public posts and the feedback people send, to find, group and score opportunities, to propose apps, and to write the pages and posts of members’ businesses. What they write is labelled as AI on the page. They take no decision with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the safeguards in each provider's data processing terms. We do not sell your data and show no advertising.
In Settings you can download everything PWAS holds about you and delete your account; you can correct your profile at any time. You also have the right to restrict or object to processing, and to complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
For anything else, write to hello@pwas.dev. We answer within one month.
PWAS is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly keep their data.
When this policy changes, we update this page and its date. If a change matters for how we use your data, we say so on the site before it applies.
