About this appAI proposal
Draftpad Loop is a workspace for creators who need many attempts to get one good result. Write a prompt, run a batch of low-cost drafts, pick the ones you like and refine them. Each step is a small, visible charge, so trying ten ideas does not feel like a mistake.
It is built for solo creators and small content teams. Drafts are generated at a fast, economical quality level. When one is right, you re-render it at full quality. You see the cost of every run before you press the button, and a spending cap stops surprises.
Existing tools, according to public claims in the evidence, price exploration so high that users aim for a working first attempt. Draftpad Loop turns that around: exploration is cheap by design, and you pay more only for the final pick.

- Why this name
- A draftpad is where rough work happens, and loop names the repeat-and-refine cycle the product makes affordable.

Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Draft mode for cheap batches
Generate four to sixteen low-cost variations of a prompt at once, then compare them side by side.

PricingAI proposal
The material only claims existing tiers around $10 and $50 (public claim, Hacker News). Tiers here sit at or below those points as a starting point to test, with cheap drafts as the difference.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Creators share boards and chosen renders by link. Viewers can see the drafts that led to a result and open the board to comment, with a small product credit on shared pages.
- Do they become customers?
- Viewers are often other creators or clients who could also pay for generation. Test whether shared board views convert to signups, and how many then buy credits.
- First customers
- Solo social-media creators and small content studios (2 to 5 people) who already pay for an AI image tool and say cost limits their experiments.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News and Reddit threads: Join discussions on AI tool pricing and offer free starter credits to people describing the problem.
- Creator newsletters: Sponsor or guest-post a before-and-after cost comparison of an iterative workflow.
- Direct outreach: Message small studios and offer a two-week trial with a shared board.
- First milestone
- Twenty creators buy credits or a Creator plan within 60 days, and at least half run more than 10 drafts per final render.
Why people already pay for this
- Public claimExisting AI generation products price exploration and iteration too high, forcing users to require functional outputs on first attempt
- Public claimUsers are already paying for AI generation tools but find the cost barrier limits their ability to experiment
- Public claimThere is a pricing tier structure at $10/$50 levels in this market

RisksAI inference
- CommercialMargins depend on upstream model costs. If cheap drafts cost nearly as much as full renders, low prices cannot be sustained.
- PlatformRelying on third-party generation APIs exposes the product to price changes, rate limits and terms changes.
- AIDraft quality may be too far from final quality, so the chosen draft changes noticeably when re-rendered.
- Intellectual propertyRights and content rules for generated output vary by model provider and must be passed on clearly to users.
- CommercialThe demand evidence is public claims from one forum; willingness to switch from existing tools is not yet verified.
