About this appAI proposal
Quiet Hand is a control room for phone automation. You describe a routine in plain words, such as copying a booking from one app into another. You review the steps, set when it runs, and approve what it may touch. A small companion on the phone does the reading, tapping and typing.
Everything runs on the device. Screens are read locally, models run locally, and run history stays on the phone unless you choose to export it. You can swap the model behind any routine, from a free lite model to a stronger one.
It is built for people who repeat the same steps across several apps: power users, solo professionals, and small field or support teams with company phones. It needs no app integrations and no root access.

- Why this name
- A hand that works without fuss. Quiet suggests nothing leaves the phone and no noise; Hand is the tapping done for you. Two plain words.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Routines in plain words
Describe the job in a sentence. Quiet Hand turns it into numbered steps you can read, edit and reorder before anything runs.

Works on any app
The agent reads the screen, then taps and types as a person would, so no integration with each app is needed.

Stays on your phone
Screen reading and model inference happen locally. Run logs are stored on the device and leave only if you export them.

Swap the model per routine
Use a light local model for simple jobs and a stronger one for tricky screens. Change it any time without rebuilding the routine.

PricingAI proposal
The material gives no competitor prices. These tiers follow the freemium idea in the opportunity (free lite model, paid stronger models and volume) and are a starting point to test.

From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Users share a routine as a link or file with colleagues or friends. The recipient sees the steps and a Quiet Hand page, and can install it on their own phone.
- Do they become customers?
- Recipients can become users and then paying customers, but only if they have a supported phone. Test how many opened shared routines turn into installs, and then into paid plans.
- First customers
- Small field-service and customer-support teams of 3 to 10 people on shared Android phones, plus solo professionals who repeat the same multi-app steps daily.
- Where to reach them
- Open-source phone agent communities: Post in GitHub discussions and forums where the interested users are, offering a managed control room with privacy by default.
- Direct outreach to small teams: Contact local service businesses that use company phones and offer to build their first three routines for them.
- First milestone
- Ten teams or individuals each run a routine weekly for a month, and five of them pay for Plus or Team.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformActing on other apps needs accessibility permissions. Android stores and some apps may restrict this, and iOS may not allow it at all, so the first version is likely Android only.
- TechnicalA PWA alone cannot control other apps. The product depends on a native companion, which adds a second codebase and a harder install.
- AISmall local models may misread screens or tap the wrong thing. Approval gates and replay help, but reliability on varied apps is unproven.
- CommercialThe evidence is GitHub interest (2518 stars in 36 days). Stars do not show people will pay, and a free open-source tool with a similar claim may satisfy power users.
- RegulatoryAutomating employee phones raises consent and monitoring questions, and some apps' terms forbid automated use.
