About this appAI proposal
Warrantly is a governance workspace for AI service providers and consultants who build custom AI agents for enterprise clients. For each deployment it keeps a risk register, a change log, an activity trail and a client-ready assurance pack in one place.
Client accounting and compliance teams ask who is accountable, what the agent can do and what happens when it fails. Warrantly turns your answers into documents and a live status page you share with them, so the sale does not rest only on a model provider's name.
It is not a model host or a legal opinion. It records what you built, what you promised and what actually happened, in a form a risk reviewer can read.

- Why this name
- A warrant is a written guarantee. Warrantly says what vendors need: a plain, documented assurance behind each agent they deploy.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Vendors send clients a branded assurance pack and a read-only status page per agent. Client risk and accounting staff open them, and each page carries a small 'Documented with Warrantly' mark.
- Do they become customers?
- Client reviewers mostly only see the pack. Test whether any of them, or other AI vendors they work with, ask to use it themselves, for example by asking their own vendors to supply Warrantly packs.
- First customers
- Solo consultants and agencies of 2 to 15 people that build custom AI agents for mid-size finance or professional-services firms with a compliance team.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News and indie forums: Post a free sample assurance pack and ask AI consultants which client risk questions block their deals.
- LinkedIn outreach: Message AI agency founders who sell to regulated clients and offer a free pack for one live deployment.
- AI builder communities: Run a short walkthrough in Slack and Discord groups for agent builders, taking real client questionnaires as input.
- First milestone
- Ten vendors use a pack with a real client, and five pay for a second agent within 60 days.
Why people already pay for this
- Public claimAI service providers need to offer operational simplicity and risk assurances to customers, and these requirements are critical to business survival.
- Public claimEnterprise clients and their compliance teams prefer solutions backed by established frontier AI model companies over open or unproven alternatives.
- Public claimVendors of custom AI solutions face real risk of losing clients if they cannot demonstrate assurances and institutional backing that satisfy buyer risk governance.

RisksAI inference
- CommercialThe evidence is public claims from one forum. Buyers may still choose a big model provider's name over any third-party paperwork, so the pack may not change deals.
- RegulatoryClients may read the packs as legal or compliance certification. Wording must make clear they are vendor statements, not audits or legal advice.
- DataRecords are self-reported by vendors. Without automatic capture from the agent, reviewers may see them as weak proof.
- TechnicalAutomatic logging across many agent frameworks needs integrations that a first version cannot cover.
- CommercialLarge GRC and AI governance vendors may add this feature for enterprises, leaving small vendors with a niche to defend.
