About this appAI proposal
Wayfold gives developers building AI agents a set of travel skills behind one API: search flights, compare hotel rates, hold a booking, cancel it, and record what happened. You do not wire up each supplier yourself.
It is for small teams adding trip planning or booking to a support bot, a planner or an internal assistant. A web console lets you run any skill with sample inputs, see what the agent would send, and replay failed runs before money moves.
What is different: every skill returns a structured result with a plain-language reason, and every booking step goes to a log your team can read. Agents stay explainable and a bad booking can be debugged in minutes.

- Why this name
- A way is a route, and a fold is a map folded to fit a pocket. Together: many routes in one small, simple package.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Flight search skill
One call returns fares in a common shape, with a check that the fare is still available before the agent offers it.

Hotel rate comparison
Compare rates for the same stay across connected suppliers, with taxes and cancellation terms in one format.

Book, change and cancel
Hold, confirm, modify and cancel reservations through the same API, with a clear state for each step.

Test console with replay
Run skills by hand, inspect requests and responses, and replay a failed agent run without booking anything.

From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Partners and integrations. Publish tool schemas and ready examples for popular agent frameworks and developer directories, so developers find Wayfold while building an agent and start on the free sandbox key.
- Do they become customers?
- Developers who try it are the paying buyers, so exposure can convert. Test whether sandbox users move to a live tier once they need real bookings.
- First customers
- Small teams of 2 to 10 developers building trip-planning or travel-support AI assistants for a travel startup or agency.
- Where to reach them
- GitHub and open examples: Publish a sample travel agent and tool schemas that use the sandbox, linking to the console.
- Agent developer communities: Share build write-ups and replay demos in forums and chats where agent builders ask about travel tools.
- Direct outreach: Contact small travel startups building assistants and offer a free guided setup.
- First milestone
- Five teams on the sandbox build a working agent, and three pay for live search within 60 days.

RisksAI inference
- CommercialA similar product exists and its GitHub repository gained 1797 stars in 89 days. Wayfold must win on debugging, guardrails and audit, not on skill count alone.
- PlatformSupplier and OTA access may need contracts, approvals or minimum volumes, which could delay live rates and bookings beyond a first version.
- RegulatoryHandling bookings and payments for travelers may bring travel-seller, payment and data-protection duties that differ by country.
- AIAn agent may book the wrong dates or a non-refundable fare. Guardrails and approvals reduce this but cannot remove it.
- TechnicalSupplier availability changes quickly, so a fare shown can fail at booking. Handling price changes and partial failures cleanly is hard.
