About this appAI proposal
Moorline is a phone-friendly control panel that sits between you and the AI coding agents running on your own machine. Before a task starts, you pick the repository, branch and worktree, and see a clear summary of exactly what the agent will edit.
It is built for developers who send tasks from a phone or another device while away from their desk. The material describes a gap: remote threads can't choose a worktree or starting branch, and people only notice a wrong target after files change. Prompt reminders are a weak guard.
Moorline makes the target a product-level control. A small host helper reports Git state, creates isolated worktrees on request, and refuses to start a task if the target no longer matches what you confirmed.

- Why this name
- A mooring holds a boat to one fixed point. Moorline holds a remote coding agent to one named checkout and branch.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Target picker before submit
Choose repo, branch and worktree from the host's real Git state, from your phone, before any task is sent.
No member yet
Pre-submit confirmation card
Shows path, branch, dirty or clean status and whether it is your primary checkout. You confirm it in one tap.
No member yet
One-tap isolated worktree
Create a fresh worktree from a chosen base branch on the host, so the agent never touches your main checkout.
No member yet
Target lock
The host helper re-checks the target at start. If the branch changed or files went dirty, the run is held and you are told.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Users invite others. Team members pair their hosts and share protection rules and run history. A teammate who sees a blocked unsafe task or an audit entry is invited to join the same workspace.
- Do they become customers?
- Invited teammates are developers who can become paying seats. Test whether a solo user's team adopts shared rules and upgrades to the Team tier.
- First customers
- Solo developers and teams of 2 to 10 engineers who already run AI coding agents on a laptop or desktop and send tasks from their phone.
- Where to reach them
- GitHub issue threads: Reply with a useful workaround and offer early access to people commenting on the open remote-target issue.
- Developer communities: Post a short demo of a blocked wrong-branch run on forums and social groups where agent users trade setups.
- First milestone
- Twenty developers pair a host, and five pay for Pro within eight weeks of launch.
Why people already pay for this
- VerifiedOpen GitHub issue has 25 reactions and 8 comments
- Public claimMobile-created AI agent tasks can accidentally execute against the wrong Git branch or primary checkout, creating an unintended modification risk.
- AI inferenceCurrent product controls are asymmetric: desktop AI coding agent UI provides Git target selection and confirmation, but mobile remote UI does not.
- AI inferenceDevelopers managing remote AI agents from mobile contexts cannot easily inspect the host machine's Git state before submitting tasks, increasing the need for clear execution target confirmation.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformAgent vendors may add native target selection to their mobile apps, or restrict how outside tools launch their agents.
- TechnicalA local host helper that runs commands remotely needs strong pairing, encryption and permission design, or it becomes a new attack surface.
- CommercialEvidence is one GitHub issue with 25 reactions. Demand may be too small to pay for a separate product.
- TechnicalAgents differ in how they accept a working directory, so adapters could be brittle across versions.
