About this appAI proposal
Triagepin joins error reports with short recordings of what users did in the browser. It groups both into issues and ranks them by how many real people were hurt, not by how often an exception fired. A short list replaces a backlog of thousands.
It also catches problems that never throw an error: rage clicks, dead buttons, a dropdown that closes itself. Each issue comes with a plain summary, the steps that led to it, and a draft pull request your team can review.
Built for engineering teams that already collect errors in a tool like Sentry and are tired of bug bashes and mark-all-resolved days. You keep your tracker; Triagepin sits on top and tells you what to fix first.

- Why this name
- A triage pin marks the one issue that needs attention first. Two plain words joined, easy to say and spell.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Impact-ranked bug list
Every issue is scored by users affected, sessions broken and whether they gave up. The top ten is what you see first.

Silent bug detection
Rage clicks, repeated form retries and dead clicks in recordings become issues even when no exception is thrown.
No member yet
Error and session in one issue
Each error links to recordings of the users who hit it, with the moment of failure marked.
No member yet
Draft fix pull requests
A coding agent proposes a patch and explains the cause. You review and merge; nothing ships on its own.

What it could be worthEstimate
What a software business making this much sells for today, from real deals. Pick a monthly revenue.

Worth about
$194,000
Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Partners and integrations. Triagepin connects to existing error trackers and code hosts. Teams find it through their tracker's integration lists and through draft pull requests that name it in the description.
- Do they become customers?
- Pull request viewers are teammates who can become users. Test whether reviewers who see a draft fix sign up, and whether integration listings bring paying teams.
- First customers
- Engineering leads at web software companies with 10 to 50 engineers who use Sentry and have a backlog of thousands of open issues.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News and dev forums: Share a write-up on ranking a real backlog by user impact, and offer a free import to commenters.
- Direct outreach: Message engineering managers who have posted about bug bashes or mass-resolving backlogs.
- First milestone
- Five teams import a real backlog, and three pay after a 30-day trial.
Why people already pay for this
- VerifiedHacker News post received 40 points and 11 comments
- AI inferenceTeams at companies like Robinhood conduct quarterly bug bash sessions to work through Sentry backlogs, but face such volume they periodically declare bankruptcy and mark all remaining bugs as resolved.
- AI inferenceError trackers produce false positives by showing thousands of errors without clear user impact, making prioritization difficult.
- AI inferenceMany user-facing issues don't throw exceptions and are missed by error tracking, representing false negatives in bug detection.

RisksAI inference
- DataSession recordings can capture personal data. Masking by default and clear retention controls are required before teams will install the snippet.
- AIDrafted fixes may be wrong or miss the cause. Trust depends on review gates, tests and showing why a fix was proposed.
- CommercialEstablished error trackers could add impact ranking and session links themselves, narrowing the gap.
- TechnicalTelling real frustration from normal behavior in recordings is hard. Too many false alerts would recreate the noise problem.
- CommercialSession volume has real storage cost. Low prices near existing tools may leave thin margins.
