About this appAI proposal
Realhand is a feed reader for people tired of AI-generated filler. You add the blogs, news sites, forums and video channels you follow. Realhand pulls their latest items into one stream and checks each for signs of machine generation, so you read what people made.
Every item gets a plain label: likely human, mixed, likely AI, or unchecked. You choose what to hide, dim or keep. Hidden items stay in a short list, so you can see what was removed and correct a wrong call.
It is an installable web app, not a plugin for other sites. It works on any device, but it filters the sources you add to it, not the feeds inside other apps. Detection is probabilistic, so Realhand shows its confidence instead of claiming certainty.

- Why this name
- Realhand suggests work made by a person's hand. It is two plain words, easy to say, and says what the reader wants.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Users share a clean reading list or a weekly digest of human-made items by link. Recipients see the labels and a Realhand footer.
- Do they become customers?
- Recipients are readers like the sharer, so some may sign up. Test whether shared digests convert at all, since a link opened once gives exposure, not a customer.
- First customers
- Researchers and knowledge workers who already follow 20 or more blogs and RSS sources and complain about AI-generated content.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News: Post a Show HN with a public filtered-feed demo and ask readers for corrections to the labels.
- RSS and reader communities: Join forums and newsletters for RSS users, offering free Plus access in return for detailed feedback.
- First milestone
- Twenty-five paying users on Plus within 60 days, with at least half keeping a filter rule active after a month.
Why people already pay for this

RisksAI inference
- AIDetection is imperfect. False positives hide human work and false negatives let slop through, which could cost trust quickly.
- PlatformA PWA cannot change feeds inside other apps or sites. Users must move reading into Realhand, and that habit change may be hard.
- DataVideo platforms may limit access to feeds and transcripts, which would weaken video filtering.
- CommercialThe only price signal is a public claim of a $1.99 extension, so willingness to pay for a subscription is unproven.
- TechnicalDetection calls on every item cost money per use, so margins on free users and heavy readers need watching.
