About this appAI proposal
Hushpad is a meeting copilot that lives on a second screen you control, such as your phone or tablet, instead of floating over the window you share. It listens through the microphone, writes a live transcript, and shows notes, action items and prompts only to you.
You bring your own AI key, so you pay your model provider directly and can switch any time. No bot joins the call and IT installs nothing. It runs as a progressive web app in the browser.
It is for people in many meetings who want help without a visible assistant. Because the screen is a separate device, a screen share cannot show it. This is a proposal to test, not a finished product.

- Why this name
- Hush means quiet and private; pad is a notepad. Two plain words that say the help stays out of sight.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Second-screen copilot
Open Hushpad on a phone or tablet beside your laptop. Notes and prompts stay on a device that is never part of the share.

From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Hushpad is used privately, so it spreads little through its own use. Customers would come from content, communities and search by people looking for private meeting help.
- Do they become customers?
- Only direct sales and content reach buyers. Test whether visitors from privacy-minded communities start a free trial and then upgrade to Pro.
- First customers
- Independent consultants and freelance product managers who run many client calls, work on personal devices and have no IT department to approve tools.
- Where to reach them
- Open-source communities: Post in the GitHub discussions and forums around the open-source copilot, offering a browser option for people who do not want a desktop app.
- Freelancer communities: Share a demo in consultant and PM Slack groups and newsletters, with a free tier for the first five meetings.
- First milestone
- Fifty free signups and ten paying Pro users among consultants within eight weeks of launch.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalBrowsers capture microphone audio well but not other apps' audio reliably. Transcript quality on a phone placed near a laptop speaker may be poor in noisy rooms.
- RegulatoryRecording or transcribing calls may need consent of other participants in some places. Hidden use could breach employer policy or recording laws.
- CommercialBring-your-own-key lowers willingness to pay for the app itself, since the model cost is paid elsewhere. Value must come from workflow.
- PlatformMobile browsers limit background microphone use and may pause the page when the screen locks, interrupting transcripts.
- Intellectual propertyThe open-source project in the evidence may have a licence that limits reuse. Hushpad must be built from scratch.
