About this appAI proposal
Tidemark takes a strategy you describe in plain words, with chart notes or screenshots, and turns it into a written rule set you can read and edit. It then tests the rules on historical data and shows where they hold up and where they fail.
When a strategy passes your own checks, Tidemark generates code for an established framework such as Freqtrade or Nautilus-Trader and runs it against a perpetual futures exchange like Hyperliquid. Position size, loss limits and a kill switch are set before anything goes live.
It is built for crypto traders and quant developers who have ideas faster than they can code them. You see the generated code, you keep the keys on your own machine, and nothing trades until you approve it.

- Why this name
- A tidemark is the line left where water reached. It echoes a chart level and the limits drawn before trading.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Idea to rule set
Describe a setup or paste chart notes. Tidemark writes explicit entry, exit and sizing rules you can edit before anything is tested.

Historical validation
Test rules on past candles with fees and slippage assumptions, and see drawdown, win rate and the periods where the idea broke.

Readable code export
Rules become framework-compatible code. Review a diff against the rule set so you know the code does what you wrote.

Risk controls first
Set max position, daily loss cap and a kill switch before deploy. Strategies cannot go live without them.

From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Traders share a validation report link, with the rules, equity curve and drawdown, in Discords and on social posts. Viewers see Tidemark's name and can open the report's rule set as a template.
- Do they become customers?
- Viewers are other traders and could become customers, but a link seen once may not convert. Test whether report viewers start a strategy from a shared template and sign up.
- First customers
- Solo crypto traders trading perps on Hyperliquid who already use TradingView and have tried Freqtrade but not shipped a live bot.
- Where to reach them
- Hyperliquid trader communities: Offer free validation reports on members' strategy ideas in Discord and Telegram groups, then invite them to the tool.
- Freqtrade user forums: Share a worked example turning a chart idea into reviewed Freqtrade code, with the full steps.
- Trading content on X and YouTube: Publish live paper-trade results from strategies built in the app, with reports linked.
- First milestone
- Ten traders take a strategy to paper trading and five pay for Trader within 60 days of launch.

RisksAI inference
- AIGenerated code may differ subtly from the stated rules and lose money. Needs rule-to-code matching checks, mandatory paper runs and clear wording that results are not advice.
- RegulatoryAutomated trading tools may fall under financial rules in some countries. Self-hosting reduces but does not remove this; legal review is needed before selling.
- CommercialFreqtrade and Nautilus-Trader are open source. Traders who can code may not pay, so the value must come from speed and validation.
- PlatformExchange APIs and framework versions change, which can break generated code and deployments. Ongoing maintenance is required.
- DataBacktests on poor or incomplete history give false confidence. Data quality and slippage models need to be visible to the user.
