About this appAI proposal
Pocket Arcade turns a few sentences into a playable browser game. You describe the idea, such as a cat that jumps across rooftops collecting fish, and it builds the art, rules and movement for you. No code and no engine to install.
It is made for hobbyists and first-time creators who have game ideas but no programming background. You change the game by chatting: make the jumps higher, add an enemy, slow the music. Each change can be undone.
When it feels right, publish to a web link that works on phones and desktops. Unlike engines built for programmers, nothing needs configuring, and unlike fixed drag-and-drop kits, you are not boxed into set templates.

From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Each published game lives at a public link with a play button, a small 'Made with Pocket Arcade' footer and a Remix button. Creators share links with friends, forums and social feeds.
- Do they become customers?
- Players can become creators because remixing is one tap away. Test what share of players click Remix and finish a first game of their own, and how many then pay.
- First customers
- Hobbyist adults and teen-and-parent pairs with game ideas and no coding skill, starting with makers of small arcade and puzzle games.
- Where to reach them
- Game jam communities: Offer a themed 48-hour jam for non-coders and showcase the games made.
- Short video: Post idea-to-playable clips showing a game built from one sentence.
- Indie and maker forums: Share published games and invite feedback and remixes.
- First milestone
- Fifty first-time creators publish a game, and at least ten pay for Creator within 60 days.

RisksAI inference
- AIGenerated games may be broken or dull, and chat edits can break earlier behaviour. Needs constrained templates, automatic play-tests and reliable undo.
- CommercialA Hacker News claim of 250,000 builders on a similar platform means competition is real. Standing out and keeping free users paying is unproven.
- TechnicalModel costs per generation could exceed subscription income for heavy free users. Limits and caching must be tuned.
- Intellectual propertyUsers may describe games that copy existing titles or characters, and generated art may resemble protected work. Needs content rules and takedown handling.
- PlatformDepends on third-party model providers whose prices, terms and quality can change.
