About this appAI proposal
Hushframe is a photo editor where you type what you want changed, such as 'remove the bike on the left' or 'make the sky overcast', and an AI model does it on your own computer. Photos are not uploaded, there are no per-edit charges, and no daily limit.
It is made for photographers, creators and designers who like generative fill and inpainting but do not want to send client or personal work to a cloud service, and who found local setups too technical. Open the app, pick a model, and start editing.
The editor is a PWA. Models download once, are stored on the device, and work offline afterwards. A one-time purchase covers the app and model updates; there is no meter running while you edit.

- Why this name
- Hush says quiet and private; frame says photo. Two plain words joined, easy to say, and they name the promise: edits happen without anything being sent out.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Edit with plain sentences
Type the change you want. Hushframe applies it to the whole photo or to the area you brush, and shows the result next to the original.

Generative fill and inpainting
Brush over an object to remove it, or over an empty area to fill it with what you describe. Results stay in layers so you can undo.

Nothing leaves your device
Photos and prompts are processed locally. The app shows a live 'network: none' check while an edit runs.

No meter, no daily cap
Edit as much as your hardware allows. No credits, no per-operation fees, no waiting for the limit to reset.

PricingAI proposal
The material gives no competitor prices, only that cloud editors charge per use and cap daily edits. These tiers are a starting point to test; the source project is currently free and open source.

From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Users export edited photos and before/after comparison links. An optional small 'edited with Hushframe' credit on shared comparison pages can lead viewers to the app.
- Do they become customers?
- Viewers of a comparison page are other photographers and creators who could buy, but a link opened once may bring no one. Test whether the credit gets clicks and trial installs.
- First customers
- Freelance photographers and small studios who handle client or personal images and have a recent desktop GPU, starting with wedding and portrait photographers.
- Where to reach them
- GitHub and open-source communities: Reach people already starring and discussing local AI image editors, with a hosted demo and a simple setup comparison.
- Photography forums and groups: Post before/after edits with proof that nothing was uploaded, aimed at privacy-minded photographers.
- Short video demos: Show removal and fill edits running offline, with the network indicator visible.
- First milestone
- Twenty-five paying Studio customers among freelance photographers within 60 days of launch.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalBrowser WebGPU limits on memory and speed may not run high-quality editing models on many laptops. A fallback to a small local helper app may be needed, which weakens the simple PWA install.
- CommercialThe source project is free and open source. Many users may choose the free version, and willingness to pay a one-time fee is unproven.
- AIOpen model quality varies and may fall short of cloud services on hard edits. Licences on model weights may restrict commercial resale and must be checked per model.
- PlatformLarge model downloads can be evicted by browsers under storage pressure, forcing re-downloads. Support differs on mobile browsers.
- Intellectual propertyGenerated edits may carry copyright or likeness concerns, and the name needs a trademark check before use.
Everything marked AI proposal or AI inference was written by a model from the evidence on the opportunity page. The proposed name must be checked against trademark registers before it is used.
