About this appAI proposal
Citewise helps small marketing teams and business owners improve how they show up in Google results and in AI answer tools such as ChatGPT. You add your site and the questions your customers ask. Citewise checks your pages against both channels and gives you a short, ranked list of fixes.
Instead of two tools and two reports, you get one plan. Each task says what to change, on which page, and whether it helps Google, AI answers or both. You can see which of your pages AI tools cite and which competitors they name instead.
It is for people who want to rely less on paid ads and more on content that gets found. It does not promise rankings. It shows what to do next and tracks whether it moved.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Weekly report links are sent to clients, bosses and teammates. They show progress and carry a small Citewise mark, and viewers can run a free check of their own site.
- Do they become customers?
- Report viewers are often the same kind of marketer or owner, so some may convert. Test whether the free site check from a report link turns viewers into signups.
- First customers
- Small marketing agencies and in-house marketers at B2B software companies with 5 to 50 staff, who report on organic traffic to clients or leadership.
- Where to reach them
- SEO and marketing communities: Share free AI citation audits of members' sites in forums and groups, then offer the tracker.
- LinkedIn outreach: Message agency owners with a short audit of their own site showing questions where rivals get cited.
- Content on AI visibility: Publish findings from tracked questions to rank for and be cited on the topic.
- First milestone
- Ten paying customers on Starter or Pro within 60 days, from agencies or B2B software marketers.

RisksAI inference
- DataAI answers vary run to run, so a mention may not repeat. Results need repeated sampling and honest wording about uncertainty.
- PlatformAI providers may limit automated querying or change terms, raising cost or breaking the question tracker.
- CommercialSEO tool buyers are used to established suites; Citewise must prove value on AI visibility specifically.
- AIGenerated briefs may suggest weak or wrong changes; users must review, and no ranking outcome can be promised.
- TechnicalPer-question API costs grow with tracked questions and could squeeze margin at the Starter price.
