About this appAI proposal
Trailmark helps owner-operators turn a stuck idea into a strategic plan they can carry out. Describe the idea in your own words, upload the documents you already have, and it organizes the facts, asks about the gaps, and returns a plan with steps, owners and dates.
It keeps a dated record of what it knows about your business and where each fact came from. When a new document contradicts an older one, it flags the conflict instead of quietly choosing. Each session picks up where the last one stopped.
It is for owners who cannot justify a consulting engagement and find generic templates too vague. Every statement in the plan links back to your own material, so you can check it before you act.

- Why this name
- A trail mark is a small sign showing the next step on a long route. The plan does the same for a stuck idea.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Start from a messy idea
Type or dictate the idea as you would tell a friend. Trailmark asks a few focused questions and restates it as a clear strategic question.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Owners send the plan, with owners and dates, to staff, partners, a bank or an adviser as a read-only link. Each page shows that it was made with Trailmark.
- Do they become customers?
- Recipients are mostly staff and advisers who see it once. Test whether advisers or other owners who open the link start their own free account.
- First customers
- Owner-operators of 5 to 50 person service businesses, such as trades, agencies or clinics, with an idea they have put off for over a year.
- Where to reach them
- Owner communities: Post worked examples in small business forums and groups, and offer a free plan to members with a stuck idea.
- Accountants and bookkeepers: Offer a referral arrangement to advisers whose clients have documents and unfinished plans.
- Founder-led outreach: Contact owners directly and run the first plans by hand with them to learn what they need.
- First milestone
- Ten owners in one vertical each upload documents and finish a plan, and five of them pay for a second month.

RisksAI inference
- AIThe model may extract a wrong fact or write a plan that sounds sure but is wrong. Source links and an owner review step are required, and trust depends on them.
- DataOwners will upload sensitive financials and contracts. Storage, access control and model-provider data terms must be settled before launch.
- CommercialAnother product reportedly has paying customers with a similar idea (public claim only). Owners may also find a general chatbot good enough.
- TechnicalMessy scans and spreadsheets make extraction poor, which can undermine the conflict flags.
- CommercialPlanning is occasional, so subscribers may cancel after one plan. Plan refresh must give a reason to return.
