About this appAI proposal
Heedly is an assistant that does not wait for you to open a chat. You choose what it may see: a shared screen or tab, your calendar, email, and a folder of files. It reads that context as it changes and sends a short push notification when something needs you, with a draft of the next step ready.
It is made for knowledge workers and developers who already use AI models all day but still paste screenshots into chats by hand. You bring your own model key, so Heedly works with the major AI models and you decide where your data goes.
Every watch rule is written in plain words, visible, and can be paused. Heedly proposes actions and waits for your approval before it sends, edits or files anything.

- Why this name
- To heed is to pay attention. Heedly pays attention for you and says little. Short, easy to say; trademark check needed.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Screen-aware nudges
Share a tab or window and Heedly pushes a notification when something on it matters, such as a failed build, a reply you owe or a deadline in a doc.

No chat needed
It runs on rules and context, not prompts. Nothing to invoke each time; you only answer the nudges.

Worth about

Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Heedly is a personal tool. It reaches customers through content, demos and developer communities rather than through its own use; approved drafts sent to others carry no visible branding.
- Do they become customers?
- Test whether solo knowledge workers convert from free to Pro after the first week of nudges. Team invites could be added later but are not assumed.
- First customers
- Solo developers and technical freelancers who already pay for an AI model and paste screenshots into chats daily.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News and GitHub: Share a demo of screen-based nudges and a rule format; the evidence shows interest from these communities.
- Developer communities: Offer the free tier in AI-tool forums and ask for rule ideas and feedback.
- First milestone
- Ten paying users on Pro within 60 days, with at least half keeping three or more rules active after two weeks.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformA PWA cannot watch the whole computer in the background. Screen capture needs an open page and the user's permission each session, so it is less always-on than a desktop agent.
- CommercialEvidence shows open-source, self-hosted preference and named rivals. Users may not pay for a hosted version of something they can run themselves.
- DataScreen content and mail are sensitive. Sending frames to model providers raises trust and compliance concerns, especially for company work.
- AINudges that are wrong or too frequent will be muted quickly. Tuning relevance and false alerts is the core product problem.
- TechnicalContinuous frame sampling and model calls can be costly and drain battery; per-user cost may exceed the Pro price.
