About this appAI proposal
Walkthru Pilot lets a B2B SaaS team offer a guided demo at any hour without a person on the call. An AI agent opens your real web app, or a demo copy of it, in a browser, clicks through the key flows and explains each step in the visitor's language.
You define the flows, the product facts and the limits once. The agent answers questions, changes the path to fit the visitor's role, and stays inside the demo workspace you set up. Every demo follows the same approved script, so quality no longer depends on who is presenting.
When your product changes, a scheduled check shows which steps broke. You fix the step instead of rewriting a script or re-recording a video.

- Why this name
- A walkthrough is what a demo is. Pilot says an agent drives while the visitor rides along. Two plain words, easy to say.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Live agent in a real browser
The agent operates your actual web app in a sandbox workspace, so visitors see the real product, not a mock-up or a recording.

Flow library
Define demo flows such as setup, first report or invite a teammate. Add the talking points and facts the agent may use for each.

Guardrails and allowed actions
Set the pages, buttons and data the agent may touch. Anything outside the list is blocked, and risky steps need your approval.

Adapts to the visitor
Ask a few questions up front, such as role and goal. The agent picks the flows and wording that fit and takes questions mid-demo.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Visible inside customers’ products. The demo runs on customers' own sites and onboarding emails, with a small 'Powered by Walkthru Pilot' label that visitors see while the agent works.
- Do they become customers?
- Visitors are mostly buyers of the customer's product, but some are SaaS staff who could buy it. Test whether the label produces demo-requests from SaaS teams, not just views.
- First customers
- B2B SaaS companies of 20 to 200 staff with a self-serve web app, a growing inbound demo queue and one or two sales engineers or CS leads.
- Where to reach them
- Founder outreach: Message heads of sales engineering and customer success at SaaS firms with a free demo built on their own public app.
- Hacker News and dev forums: Share a live demo of the agent running a well-known flow and invite SaaS founders to try it on theirs.
- SaaS founder communities: Offer setup of three flows free to early members in exchange for feedback and a case study.
- First milestone
- Five SaaS companies pay for a pilot and each runs at least 50 real prospect demos in a month.
Why people already pay for this
- Public claimThe founders built an internal demo automation tool and found persistent demand for this capability.
- AI inferenceKarumi is being used by customers for inbound demos and internal demo environments, with at least one enterprise customer visible (Deel).
- Public claimThe founders charge customers based on complexity, support, and scope, plus per-call charges.

RisksAI inference
- AIThe agent may click the wrong thing or give a wrong answer about the product. Allow-lists, approved facts and approval steps are needed, and failures must be visible.
- TechnicalReal apps use logins, captchas, pop-ups and changing layouts, which can break browser automation. Each customer may need setup work.
- CommercialModel and browser costs per run may eat margin at low prices. Per-run pricing must be tested against real usage.
- DataDemos must run on sandbox data. A mistake that exposes real customer data would end trust, so isolation is essential.
- CommercialThe material shows interest (a 40-point post) and founders' claims of demand, but no verified paying customers. Buyers may keep human demos for high-value deals.
