About this appAI proposal
Patchwright is for development and security teams who must meet Cyber Resilience Act duties across many repositories. It scans each repo for vulnerabilities, ranks findings by severity and by how the code is used, opens a ticket for each real issue, and drafts a pull request with a proposed fix.
Today teams run scans by hand, read the results, write tickets and then code the fixes, with back-and-forth between security and developers. Patchwright takes over that coordination. Developers review a ready pull request instead of a raw report, and security keeps a clear record of what was found and closed.
Nothing is merged without a human approving it. Every finding, ticket and fix is logged so the team can show its work when asked.

- Why this name
- A wright is a maker. Patchwright is someone who makes patches, which is the plain job the product does for you.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Multi-repo scanning
Connect many repositories and scan them on a schedule or on every push, with one list of findings across all of them.
No member yet
Context-aware triage
Findings are ranked by severity and by whether the vulnerable code is reachable in your project, so the noise drops.
No member yet
Tickets created for you
Each confirmed finding becomes a ticket in your issue tracker with details, severity, owner and a link to the code.
No member yet
Draft fix pull requests
Patchwright proposes a change, such as a dependency bump or a code patch, and opens it as a pull request for review.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Pull requests and tickets carry a short note saying Patchwright drafted them. Reviewers, other developers and auditors see these, and shared evidence reports show the name.
- Do they become customers?
- Reviewers are often developers on the same team and could become users, but a one-time auditor does not buy. Test how many reviewers go on to connect their own repos.
- First customers
- Engineering leads and security engineers at EU software and device makers with 20 to 200 developers and many repositories, starting with one vertical such as connected devices.
- Where to reach them
- Open source community: Publish a free CRA readiness scan for public repos and share results in developer forums and GitHub discussions.
- Compliance webinars: Run short sessions on CRA vulnerability handling for product security teams, with a live demo on a sample repo.
- Direct outreach: Message security leads at EU hardware and software firms with an offer of a free pilot on three repos.
- First milestone
- Five paying teams in one vertical, each running Patchwright on 10 or more repositories for 60 days.
Why people already pay for this

RisksAI inference
- AIGenerated fixes may break code or add new flaws. Human approval and test runs are required before merge, which limits how autonomous it can be.
- RegulatoryBuyers may expect proof that the tool satisfies CRA duties. Patchwright supports the work but cannot certify compliance, and wording must be careful.
- CommercialEstablished code hosts and security scanners may add similar features. Demand beyond developer interest is not yet shown.
- TechnicalReading private code and running builds needs strong sandboxing and narrow permissions, or one breach would hit every customer.
- DataReachability and triage quality depend on the accuracy of public vulnerability data, which can be late or wrong.
