About this appAI proposal
Nestlog is a baby activity tracker for parents and other caregivers. Log sleep, feedings, diaper changes and tummy time with one tap, even at 3 a.m. with one hand. Everything sits in a simple timeline you can read at a glance.
Over days, Nestlog shows patterns in naps, feed spacing and diaper counts, and estimates when the next nap or feed is likely. The aim is fewer guesses and fewer 'when did she last eat?' questions between partners, grandparents and sitters.
It installs from the browser, with no server to set up. The open-source tracker in the material is self-hosted and built for people who run their own software; Nestlog is for a tired parent who just wants to tap and see. Basic tracking is free; sharing and deeper insights are paid.

- Why this name
- A nest is where a baby rests; a log is the record. Two plain words joined, easy to say half asleep.

From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Users invite others. A parent invites a partner, grandparent or sitter to the shared log. Each invitee uses the app to log and view, and sees the Nestlog name every time.
- Do they become customers?
- Invitees are often parents themselves or soon will be, but many only need free viewing. Test how many invitees start their own baby log or upgrade.
- First customers
- Parents of newborns under 6 months in two-caregiver households, in one language and country, who share care with a partner or relative.
- Where to reach them
- Parenting communities: Join newborn groups and forums, offer free early access in exchange for feedback.
- Birth class partners: Work with prenatal class teachers and doulas to recommend it to new parents.
- First milestone
- 200 active families logging for two weeks, and 20 paying for the Family tier.

RisksAI inference
- CommercialMany free baby trackers exist; people may not pay beyond the free tier. Willingness to pay for sharing and insights must be tested.
- RegulatoryData about infants is sensitive. Privacy rules for children's data and health-like data may apply and need review before launch.
- PlatformWeb push and background behaviour on iOS PWAs is limited, which may weaken reminders and quick-launch use.
- AINext-need estimates can be wrong and may be read as medical advice. Wording must stay clear that they are estimates, not guidance.
