About this appAI proposal
Stillpage is a PDF toolbox that runs in your browser. Merge, split, sign, compress, rotate, redact and convert pages without sending the file anywhere. The document is processed on your device and stays there. You open the page and start working, with no sign-up.
It is for people who handle PDFs every week: office staff, freelancers, legal assistants, finance teams and developers. Instead of hopping between single-purpose sites, you chain steps in one place, such as merge, compress, then sign.
The material suggests many web tools need uploads or accounts and each covers only a few operations. Stillpage proposes one local workspace, saved recipes for repeated jobs, and a command-line version that runs the same recipes.

- Why this name
- Still means the file stays put and the tool is quiet and steady. Page names the thing you work on. Two plain words, easy to say.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Everything stays on your device
Files are processed locally with WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded, and a visible network indicator shows that no file data leaves the browser.

No account needed
Open the app and work. Paid features unlock with a license key, so you never give an email just to merge two files.

What it could be worthEstimate

Worth about
$190,000
Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Reached through search, developer communities and word of mouth. Saved recipes and the CLI may spread inside a team, but the product has no built-in loop that shows its name to new users.
- Do they become customers?
- Test whether privacy-minded people who find it by search pay for Pro. Test whether developers who try the CLI bring their teams to Teams, and whether free users convert.
- First customers
- Small legal, accounting and HR offices with 2 to 15 staff that handle confidential PDFs daily and cannot upload them to unknown web services.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News and developer forums: Share the local-only design and the CLI with a demo showing no network traffic. Collect feedback from developers.
- Search for PDF tasks: Publish one page per task, such as merge or compress without upload, each a working tool.
- Direct outreach to small offices: Offer a free recipe setup call for one repeated document job to firms in one vertical.
- First milestone
- Ten paying Pro or CLI customers in one vertical within 60 days of launch, with at least three asking for team features.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalLarge or damaged PDFs may exhaust browser memory on phones and older laptops. Compression quality in WebAssembly may trail desktop tools.
- CommercialFree web tools with large audiences already exist. Users may not pay for privacy alone, and a $5 plan may not fund the work.
- CommercialWithout accounts, license keys can be shared and recovery is harder. Billing support needs a simple key re-send flow.
- Intellectual propertySome open-source PDF libraries have copyleft or commercial licenses. Each must be checked before a paid CLI or embed version is sold.
- RegulatoryLocal-only claims must be true and checkable. Any error report or analytics that sends file content would break the promise.
