About this appAI proposal
Keyhall lets a team give people access to servers from a browser dashboard. You add servers and people, choose who can reach what, and Keyhall handles the keys. Nobody pastes public keys into authorized_keys files by hand.
Every session is tied to a named person, protected by two-factor sign-in and recorded for later review. When someone leaves or a role changes, one click removes their access from every system.
It is built for DevOps engineers and sysadmins who run more servers than they can track by hand. It is hosted for you, so there is no Java app to install and patch, which is the self-hosted route the open-source alternative in the material takes.

- Why this name
- A hall is where many doors meet and a key opens one. Keyhall is the place where a team's keys are kept and handed out.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
One place for all server access
See every server, every person and who can reach what in a single grid. Change access with a click instead of editing files on each host.

Browser terminal
Open an SSH session from the browser after signing in. No local key setup needed for day-to-day access.

Enforced two-factor sign-in
Require a second factor for every person or for chosen groups. Sessions cannot start without it.

Session audit trail
Each session is logged with who, which server, when and how long. Search and export the log for reviews.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Users invite others. An admin invites teammates and contractors to the workspace so they can open sessions. Each invited person sees the product when they sign in and connect to servers.
- Do they become customers?
- Invited engineers may later run their own team's servers and sign up. Test whether invited contractors and colleagues at other companies start their own workspaces.
- First customers
- Small DevOps teams of 5 to 30 engineers running 20 to 100 cloud servers, with no central access tool today.
- Where to reach them
- GitHub and open-source forums: Reach people who use or compare Bastillion-style tools. Offer a guide for moving from self-hosted to hosted.
- DevOps communities: Post practical guides on SSH offboarding and audit trails in sysadmin and DevOps forums and newsletters.
- Direct outreach: Message infrastructure leads at small companies and offer a free access review.
- First milestone
- Five teams connect real servers and three pay for the Team tier within 60 days of launch.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalA hosted gateway that reaches customers' servers needs a safe network path, such as an outbound agent or allowed IP addresses. Getting this simple enough to set up is hard.
- CommercialSecurity teams may refuse to route production access through a young hosted service. The self-hosted open-source alternative may win on trust.
- RegulatorySession logs can hold sensitive data and customers may need compliance proof. Retention and access rules must be handled with care.
- PlatformBrowser terminals depend on WebSockets and a long-lived connection. Mobile PWA use may drop sessions when the phone sleeps.
- DataStoring private keys or signing certificates makes the product a high-value target. A breach would end the business.
