About this appAI proposal
Parting Words reads the conversations your users have with your AI product and shows why people stop coming back. It groups chats by intent, flags frustration, failed answers and abandoned tasks, and ties each pattern to accounts that churned or are at risk.
Built for product teams at makers of AI code editors, app builders and other chat-based tools. Instead of reading transcripts by hand or guessing from click counts, you get a ranked list of pain points and feature requests, each backed by real quotes.
Generic analytics count events. Parting Words works on what people actually said, so you can see the request that went unmet before the user left, and decide what to build next.

- Why this name
- The last things a user says before leaving are the clearest clue to why. The name points at those words.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.

Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. It reaches customers through direct outreach, content and founder communities. Its output is used internally by product teams, so it spreads little through its own use.
- Do they become customers?
- Test whether outreach to AI product founders turns into paid pilots. Digest readers are already colleagues, so a shared digest might prompt team seat requests.
- First customers
- Product leads and founders at seed to Series A makers of AI code editors and app builders, with a few thousand active users and a chat as the main interface.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News and Show HN: Post a teardown of churn themes found in a public or sample chat set, and offer a free analysis.
- Founder communities: Join AI builder groups and Slack channels, and offer a free analysis of 1,000 chats for feedback.
- Direct outreach: Message product leads of AI tools with a short note on one likely churn theme and an offer for a pilot.
- First milestone
- Five paying customers among AI coding or app-builder products, each acting on at least one finding within a month.

RisksAI inference
- DataUser chats may contain personal data or customers' code. Buyers will want clear masking, retention limits and data agreements before they send logs.
- AIModel-labelled themes and churn reasons can be wrong or vague. Quote-level evidence and easy correction are needed so teams trust the output.
- CommercialThe buyer group is narrow, and big AI products may build this in house. The material shows only a few paying customers for a similar offer.
- TechnicalEvery product logs chats differently. Import mapping and cost of analyzing large volumes can erode margins.
- PlatformDepending on a third-party model API means price changes or terms limiting log analysis would affect cost and features.
