About this appAI proposal
Taskdock runs your team's AI coding agents in isolated cloud sandboxes. Assign a task from Slack, GitHub, Linear or the API, and an agent works on it in its own environment, even after everyone has closed their laptops. The result comes back as a pull request, a review or a diagnosis.
It is for software teams already using coding CLIs such as Claude Code or Codex, from three people up. Each task gets its own sandbox, so several agents can run at once without sharing a filesystem, ports or test databases, and without access to anyone's machine.
Taskdock runs the labs' own CLIs rather than a custom harness, so you can switch between them and pick up their improvements. Usage is billed from AI compute use, and larger teams can bring their own keys.

- Why this name
- A dock is where work is left to be handled while you are away. Short, pronounceable, and describes the idea without naming any CLI.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
One sandbox per task
Each task gets its own isolated environment with its own ports, services and test database, so parallel agents do not collide. No git worktree juggling.

Keeps running when you leave
Runs continue in the background after laptops close. Come back to a finished pull request, or a clear note on where the agent got stuck.

Works with the CLIs you use
Run Claude Code, Codex or other lab-made CLIs in the same sandbox. No custom harness to depend on, and no lock-in to one lab.

Start from Slack, GitHub or Linear
Mention Taskdock in a thread, label an issue or call the API. Results return as PRs, reviews and diagnostics where the team already works.

Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Every task ends in a pull request, review comment or diagnosis posted to GitHub, Slack or Linear. Teammates, contractors and reviewers see a 'run by Taskdock' note and a run link with the log and sandbox summary.
- Do they become customers?
- Reviewers are often developers on the same team and could start their own tasks, but many will only read the PR. Test how many reviewers who open a run link start a task within 30 days.
- First customers
- Engineering teams of 3 to 15 developers who already use Claude Code or Codex daily on GitHub repos, led by a founder or tech lead who pays for tooling.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News and dev forums: Post a write-up on running parallel agents without worktrees, with a live demo and a free trial of credits.
- Direct outreach to tech leads: Message small teams that publicly share their AI coding workflow and offer a guided setup on their own repo.
- Open-source repo demos: Run Taskdock on public repos and post the resulting PRs with run links to show real results.
- First milestone
- Ten teams run at least 20 tasks each in a month, and five convert to a paid plan.

RisksAI inference
- CommercialThe material notes many startups building cloud coding agents. Differentiation on 'runs lab-native CLIs' may be easy to copy, and labs may ship their own cloud runners.
- PlatformDepends on third-party CLIs and their licence terms, login methods and update pace. A change in how they authenticate or bill could break runs.
- CommercialPricing at cost with no markup leaves thin margin on credits; sandbox compute and support costs must be covered by the plan fee.
- TechnicalIsolating untrusted agent code, handling repo secrets and giving each task its own services and databases is hard to do securely and cheaply.
- DataTeams must trust the product with source code. Security review, data retention and clear access scoping may slow sales.
