About this appAI proposal
Inkpage Press turns comic and manga files into clean, fullscreen pages for e-ink readers. Upload a CBZ, CBR, PDF or folder of images, pick your device, and get a file that opens without margins and keeps its fixed layout.
It runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install on a work laptop, a tablet or a Chromebook. Previews show each page as e-ink would show it, before you convert anything. Settings are saved per device and per series.
The material names one existing open-source desktop tool for this job. Inkpage Press is a proposal for a hosted, browser-based alternative with previews, batch queues and send-to-device delivery, for readers who do not want to tune dithering by hand.

- Why this name
- Ink is what e-readers show; press is what turns a source file into a finished page. Two plain words, easy to say.

From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Conversion is a private task and output files go to the user's own reader. Reach comes from search, communities and guides, not from product use.
- Do they become customers?
- Test whether e-reader comic readers find the tool by searching for conversion help and then pay for hosted convenience over a free desktop tool.
- First customers
- Manga and comic readers who own a Kobo or Kindle and read several volumes a month, who do not want to install or configure desktop software.
- Where to reach them
- Reddit e-reader communities: Answer conversion questions and share before and after previews on e-ink devices.
- Hacker News and forums: Post a demo with side-by-side dithering comparisons for technical readers.
- Search content: Write device-specific guides for sizes and formats that link to the free tier.
- First milestone
- Fifty free users convert a series each, and ten pay for the Reader tier within eight weeks.

RisksAI inference
- CommercialA free open-source desktop tool already does this. Users may not pay for convenience unless previews and batch cloud conversion are clearly better.
- RegulatoryUsers upload comics they may not own. Copyright takedown handling, short retention and terms of use are needed.
- TechnicalOutput must open correctly on many device models and firmware versions. Testing needs real devices.
- CommercialCloud processing of large files costs money per conversion, which could squeeze margins on the free and low tiers.
- PlatformSend-to-device paths depend on vendor email and sideload rules that can change.
