ScreensConcept
Desktop app: Developers search work memory, add decision notes, review meeting transcripts, and set rules for AI assistants during focused coding sessions with dense information. Sample screens on a computer, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Trailhead Log keeps a record of your working day as a developer: decisions, AI chats, meeting notes and tool output. It turns that record into searchable memory your AI coding assistant can query through MCP tools, so a new session starts with the history of the last one.
You write short rules from past mistakes, such as 'never edit the generated client by hand'. The assistant reads each rule and the reason behind it before it acts. Every answer links to its source entry, so you can trace why something was decided.
It is for individual developers who use AI coding assistants daily and are tired of pasting the same background into each session. Memory stays on your machine by default. Encrypted sync and shared team memory are optional paid add-ons.

- Why this name
- A trailhead is where a path starts and can be followed back. The log is the record of that path, which the assistant can trace.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Searchable work memory
Search decisions, AI conversations, meeting notes and tool output in one place, by keyword or by meaning.
No member yet
MCP tools for your assistant
Your coding assistant calls search, recall and rule lookup through standard MCP tools, with no copy and paste.
No member yet
Rules from past mistakes
Turn a bad outcome into a rule. The assistant gets the rule and the original entry that caused it.

Decision trail
Each answer shows its source entry, date and session, so you can see where a choice came from.

PricingAI proposal
The material gives no competitor prices. It says only that local software is free and cloud sync and team features are planned as paid. Prices here are a starting point to test.

Worth about
$194,000
Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Used by one developer with their own assistant. Teams share rules and decisions inside the product, but that stays among people who already use it.
- Do they become customers?
- Reach comes from content, open-source community posts and word of mouth. Test whether solo free users convert to paid sync, and whether one user brings in teammates.
- First customers
- Solo developers and small-team AI engineers who use Claude Code, Codex or Cursor every day on long-running projects.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News: Share a Show HN with a demo of an assistant recalling a decision from a past session.
- Developer communities: Post in assistant-specific forums and Discords with a free local install and rule examples.
- Open-source MCP listings: Publish the MCP server where developers browse for MCP tools.
- First milestone
- Fifty weekly active free users and ten paying for encrypted sync within three months of launch.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformAssistant vendors may add built-in memory or change MCP support, which could overlap with or break this product.
- DataRecording screens and meetings can capture secrets and other people's speech. It needs redaction, consent prompts and clear deletion.
- TechnicalReliable capture across operating systems needs a desktop helper, which is much harder than a pure PWA.
- CommercialThe material shows one open beta post with 49 points. Willingness to pay for sync is unproven, and the free local tier may be enough.
- AIWrong or stale recalled context could mislead the assistant. Each answer needs source links and age.
