ScreensConcept
Desktop and mobile: Notes are created, edited and shared across phones and computers; the app would lose value without sync between both devices for households and multi-device users. Sample screens on a computer and a phone, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Hearthnote is a notes app that runs in any browser and installs on phones and computers. Write on one device, find it on the others. Sync is built in and included in every plan, so there is no server to set up and no separate sync add-on to buy.
Share a single note with someone in your family, not your whole library. Each person keeps private notes and chooses which ones are shared, with view or edit rights. Groceries, trip plans and school forms stay in one place everyone can open.
It is made for people who like the calm look of Apple Notes but also use Windows, Android or Linux. Few settings, no plugins to manage, plain pricing. Export everything as Markdown whenever you want.

- Why this name
- A hearth is where a household gathers, and a note is the small thing you leave there. Two plain words joined, easy to say.

PricingAI proposal
Material gives one verified price: Obsidian lists paid plans from $5 to $10 a month. Craft is only called pricey, with no figure. These tiers are a starting point to test, set at or under Obsidian's range.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Users invite others. Sharing a note or joining a household needs the other person to have an account. Each shared grocery list or trip plan invites a family member to sign in and use the app.
- Do they become customers?
- Invited relatives can become paying customers, or join the sender's Family plan for free. Test how many invitees create their own notes, and how many start a separate paid plan.
- First customers
- Mixed-device households, for example one iPhone user with a Windows or Android partner, where one adult manages shared lists and plans.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News and Reddit threads: Answer notes-app comparison threads with an honest write-up and a free tier to try.
- Obsidian and Craft user forums: Offer an import guide and a short post for users put off by sync cost or complexity.
- Short how-to videos: Publish demos of sharing one note across iPhone and Windows.
- First milestone
- Fifty free signups from mixed-device households and ten paying Family plans within 60 days of launch.
Why people already pay for this

- AI inferenceExisting notes apps suffer from poor design, high cost, or overcomplication
- AI inferenceCraft's pricing is a barrier for users who need the paid tier
- AI inferenceObsidian's sync service is expensive and self-hosting is too difficult

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalReliable offline editing and merge of shared notes is hard, and lost or conflicting edits would destroy trust fast.
- PlatformiOS handling of installed web apps limits background sync, notifications and storage, so it may feel weaker than native apps.
- CommercialApple Notes is free and well liked, and Zoho Notebook is cheap. Families may not switch or pay unless they use mixed devices.
- DataStoring private family notes needs strong access control, backups and clear deletion, or one leak ends the product.
- CommercialEvidence is mostly one public forum thread with inferred claims, so real demand is unproven.
