ScreensConcept
Desktop app: Engineering teams compare detailed technical drawings, PDFs, and spreadsheets side-by-side, requiring large screens and sustained concentration on dense visual content. Sample screens on a computer, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Revline Vault keeps every revision of your P&ID, PDF, Excel sheet or CAD drawing in one place. Upload a new version and see what changed against the last one. No file names like rev3_final_redlined.pdf, and no command line.
It is built for design and engineering teams in process industries who review and mark up documents today. Each revision has an author, a reason and a reviewer, so the audit trail builds itself as people work.
The workflow is Git-like but in plain words: save a revision, compare two, propose a change, approve it. Reviewers who have never used version control can work in it on a phone or a laptop.
- Tagline

- Why this name
- Revline joins revision with the redline engineers already know. Vault says the record is kept safe.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Visual PDF and drawing diff
Overlay two revisions of a sheet and see added, removed and moved marks in different colours.

Spreadsheet cell diff
Compare Excel versions cell by cell, so changed line lists and equipment tables stand out.
No member yet
Revision history per document
A timeline of who saved what, when and why, replacing file-name conventions.

Proposed changes and approval
Work on a draft revision, request review, and make it the current version once approved.

What it could be worthEstimate
What a software business making this much sells for today, from real deals. Pick a monthly revenue.
If it makes
Worth about
$194,000
Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Teams send compare links and exported audit PDFs to contractors, clients and reviewers outside the team. Each carries the product name and lets the guest view the diff and comment.
- Do they become customers?
- Guests are often other engineering firms or owners who could become paying teams, but a link opened once brings no customer. Test how many guest reviewers start their own project.
- First customers
- Small engineering design firms of 5 to 30 people that produce P&IDs for petroleum or chemical clients and mark up PDFs today.
- Where to reach them
- LinkedIn outreach: Message process engineering leads and document controllers with a short demo of a P&ID diff.
- Engineering forums and Hacker News: Share a free PDF compare tool and a post on revision pain, linking to the product.
- Industry groups: Offer a pilot to local process engineering associations and their member firms.
- First milestone
- Five design firms in one process vertical each pay for the Team tier after a 30-day pilot.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalReliable diffs of CAD and P&ID formats are hard. The first version may need to cover PDF and Excel only and compare CAD through converted PDFs.
- CommercialEvidence is a single Hacker News post with 19 points and 6 comments. Paying demand in process industries is not yet shown.
- PlatformTeams already work in Bluebeam. If review stays there, users may not move, so import and export from it matter.
- DataProcess-industry drawings can be confidential. Buyers may demand strict access control, regional hosting or on-premise options.
- RegulatoryRegulated plants may need records that meet document control and audit rules, which could add compliance work.
