About this appAI proposal
Roomwise helps people on Mac and Windows get storage back without guessing. You pick the folders to look at. It finds exact duplicate files, large files you have not opened in a long time, and old downloads, and shows each item with the reason it was flagged.
Scanning happens on your device, in the browser. Files are never uploaded. Nothing is removed until you review it, and removed items go to a restore list first. For things a browser cannot reach, such as app caches, installed apps and startup items, Roomwise gives short guided steps for your system.
It is for people who want a clear answer to 'what is using my space' and who distrust cleaners that scare them with red warnings or hide what they delete.

- Two plain words that promise what users want: more room on the drive, and a careful, wise way to get it.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Duplicate finder
Compares file contents, not just names, so only true copies are grouped. You choose which copy stays; the oldest original is suggested.

Reason for every item
Each flagged file shows its path, size, last opened date and a one-line reason, so you can decide with facts.

Space map
A simple size map of the folders you picked shows where the gigabytes are, before you clean anything.

Review, then remove

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Roomwise is used alone on a person's own files. There is no sharing or invite step, so it reaches customers through search, content and word of mouth about safe cleanup.
- Do they become customers?
- Visitors from search can try the free scan at once and upgrade in the same place. What to test is whether free users who see reclaimed space convert to the yearly plan.
- First customers
- Mac and Windows laptop owners with small drives, such as freelancers and students, who run low on space and distrust paid cleaner apps.
- Where to reach them
- Search content: Guides such as 'find duplicate files on Mac' and 'why is my disk full', each ending in a free scan.
- Reddit and forums: Answer storage questions in Mac and Windows help communities, with the free tool as a plain option.
- Open-source circles: Post a write-up of the on-device, no-upload design where privacy-minded users gather.
- First milestone
- Five hundred completed free scans and 25 paying Plus users within 60 days of launch.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformFolder access and deletion in browsers is limited to Chromium. Safari and Firefox lack it, and a PWA cannot reach app caches, installed apps or startup items. This narrows the product to files in chosen folders.
- TechnicalHashing very large folders in a browser may be slow or run out of memory, and users must grant folder permission again in each session.
- CommercialThe material shows interest in a free open-source disk cleaner and paid rivals. People may prefer a full native cleaner over a narrower web tool, and may not pay for it.
- TechnicalA wrong duplicate grouping or a bad removal would destroy trust. Needs byte-level checks, confirmation steps and careful testing.
