About this appAI proposal
Clinicroom is a patient record and practice management app for solo practitioners and small clinics. It covers charts, visit notes, scheduling and billing in one installable web app that works on a phone, tablet or desk computer.
Your data stays yours. Records are stored in FHIR-shaped form and can be exported in full at any time, with no fee and no vendor help. Practices can use our hosting or move to their own server later.
Setup is made for a small team: pick a specialty template, import your patient list, and start charting. Fields, note templates and fee schedules can be changed by the practice without a services contract.

- Why this name
- A clinic room is where care happens; the name is two plain words joined, easy to say and hints at a space the practice owns.

What it could be worthEstimate
What a software business making this much sells for today, from real deals. Pick a monthly revenue.

Worth about
$194,000
Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Clinicroom is used inside the practice. Patients see appointment emails and invoices, but those carry little reason to adopt it, so growth comes from sales, content and referrals.
- Do they become customers?
- Patients are not buyers. To test: whether practice owners refer peers, and whether small clinics pay for hosted ease over free open-source options.
- First customers
- Solo and two-to-five clinician cash-pay practices in one specialty, such as physiotherapy or mental health, run by an owner who picks the software.
- Where to reach them
- Specialty practice forums: Join owner communities, answer migration and cost questions, and offer free data import trials.
- Open-source EHR communities: Reach users of self-hosted systems who want hosting without lock-in.
- Direct outreach: Email independent clinics with a short demo and a free full-export promise.
- First milestone
- Five paying solo or small practices in one specialty, each using it for a month of real scheduling and billing.

RisksAI inference
- RegulatoryHealth records fall under privacy rules such as HIPAA in the US. Hosting, agreements and security review must be done before any real patient data is stored.
- CommercialPractices switch EHRs rarely and fear data loss. Free open-source options exist, so paying for hosted ease must be shown.
- TechnicalBilling, claims and lab or pharmacy links are large. A first version may cover only simple self-pay invoicing, which limits who can adopt it.
- DataImporting records from existing systems is messy and varies by vendor. Poor migration could block adoption.
- PlatformOffline use in a PWA is limited, and cached patient data on devices raises security concerns.
