About this appAI proposal
Tenantpost is an email API for platforms that send on behalf of many customers. Each tenant gets its own domain, API credentials, permissions, webhooks and stats, so one careless sender does not drag down everyone else's inbox placement.
Transactional mail (resets, receipts, alerts) and broadcast mail run on separate sending lanes, each with its own metrics. Core features are not locked behind higher plans; you pay for what you send.
It is for small engineering teams building SaaS products, marketplaces and agency tools who want an independent provider with engineers answering support.

- Why this name
- Tenant names the multi-tenant problem it solves; post is plain mail language. Two simple words, easy to say and spell.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Tenant isolation
Every tenant has its own sending domain, API keys, scopes, suppression list and stats. Suspend one tenant without touching the rest.

Split transactional and broadcast lanes
Password resets and receipts never queue behind a campaign. Each lane has its own reputation and metrics.

Per-tenant webhooks
Send delivery, bounce and complaint events to a different endpoint, with its own signing secret, for each tenant.

Domain verification API
Create a tenant domain, get the DNS records to show your customer, and receive a webhook when it verifies.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Partners and integrations. Platforms embed Tenantpost behind their own product, and listings in framework guides, SDKs and starter templates for multi-tenant SaaS bring in other developers searching for tenant sending.
- Do they become customers?
- Recipients only see mail, not Tenantpost, so exposure brings no customers. Developers who find SDKs and templates can sign up and pay. Test whether template users convert to paid.
- First customers
- Small SaaS and agency-tool teams of 2 to 15 engineers that send email for their own customers and have had a deliverability incident or hit tenant limits.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News and dev forums: Post engineering write-ups on tenant isolation and guardrails, and answer threads from people leaving acquired providers.
- Open-source starter templates: Publish multi-tenant SaaS templates with Tenantpost wired in, with a free tier.
- Direct outreach: Message founders of multi-tenant platforms asking about their current email setup and offer migration help.
- First milestone
- Five paying multi-tenant platforms, each sending at least 100,000 emails a month, within 90 days of launch.

- Public claimDevelopers and companies need reliable email APIs for sending transactional emails (password resets, receipts, notifications) and marketing emails.
- Public claimMulti-tenant platforms face significant challenges with email delivery where poor sender behavior from one customer can affect all customers' deliverability.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalBuilding and running mail infrastructure with good inbox placement is hard; IP warm-up and reputation take weeks and one early mistake can hurt every tenant.
- CommercialMailgun, SendGrid and Postmark are established. Developers may not switch for tenant isolation alone, and the Postmark-acquisition angle may fade.
- RegulatoryMarketing mail brings anti-spam and consent rules (such as unsubscribe handling) that the platform must enforce across tenants.
- PlatformLarge mailbox providers set their own sender rules and can block new senders or domains with little notice.
- DataStoring recipient addresses and message content for many tenants creates privacy and breach exposure, and needs strict tenant separation.
