About this appAI proposal
Keepsafe Map holds a clear map of what your family would need in an emergency: where documents are kept, which accounts and bills exist, what insurance covers, and what your wishes are. You fill it in with short guided steps and keep it current with reminders.
You choose who may see it: a spouse, an adult child, an executor. If something happens, a trusted person can declare an emergency. After a waiting period you set, during which you can cancel, they receive the map with a checklist of who to call first.
It is not a password manager or a budgeting app. It does not track every transaction. It does one job: when a crisis comes, nobody has to search.

- Why this name
- Keepsafe says protection in plain words, and Map says what it gives your family: a way through, not a pile of files.

Worth about
$194,000
Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Users invite others. Setting up the map means naming trusted people. Each invited spouse, child or executor sees the product and is prompted to build their own map.
- Do they become customers?
- Invitees are likely future customers because they just saw the need. Test how many invitees start their own map and how many convert to paid within 60 days.
- First customers
- Adults aged 45 to 65 with ageing parents or a recent family health scare, in one country, who want one shared plan.
- Where to reach them
- Estate planning attorneys: Offer the map as a handout for clients after they sign wills, with a referral link.
- Caregiver communities: Join forums and groups for adult children caring for parents, and offer a free checklist.
- Hacker News follow-up: Reach the people who commented on the original post and offer early access.
- First milestone
- Fifty completed maps and ten paying families from one channel within 90 days.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalReleasing encrypted data to family without the owner present is hard: lost keys or a bad handoff could lock everyone out.
- CommercialPeople postpone planning for emergencies. The map takes effort to fill in, so many may sign up and never finish it.
- RegulatoryStoring identity and financial documents brings privacy and security duties. Access after death may also face legal rules that vary by place.
- DataA breach or false emergency declaration would expose very sensitive records, so trust is the whole product.
- CommercialThe evidence is one forum post with 47 points. Willingness to pay is claimed, not shown.
