About this appAI proposal
Conduit Loom is a hosted workspace where backend and integration engineers build flows that connect legacy systems, cloud services and APIs. Flows are plain Python functions with a visual map on top, so a team can read, test and review them like any other code.
It is made for engineers at mid-market and enterprise companies in healthcare, finance, telecom, defense and aerospace who now maintain custom scripts, several point tools, or an ESB that needs consultants to change. Each flow deploys from Git and shows its runs, retries and failures in one place.
Nothing is hidden in a proprietary designer. Flows export as ordinary Python packages you can run yourself, which keeps lock-in low and leaves a path to self-hosting where on-premises rules apply.

- Why this name
- A loom weaves many threads into one cloth, and a conduit carries data between systems. Two plain words, easy to say.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Flows as Python
Write each step as a typed Python function. The visual map is generated from the code, so reviews and diffs stay in Git.

Low-code connectors
Start from connectors for REST, SOAP, SFTP, queues and databases, then drop into Python for any custom mapping.
No member yet
API gateway routes
Expose a flow as an authenticated endpoint with rate limits and versioning, without running a separate gateway.
No member yet
Run trace and replay
See every message through every step. Replay a failed message after a fix, with its original payload.

The material gives no competitor prices, so no amounts are set. Tiers are a starting point to test, priced by messages processed or endpoints deployed, plus a self-hosted license.

What it could be worthEstimate
What a software business making this much sells for today, from real deals. Pick a monthly revenue.
If it makes
Worth about
$194,000
Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Reaches customers through developer content, open examples and direct sales. Flows run behind the scenes, so end users of the connected systems do not see the product.
- Do they become customers?
- Nobody outside the buying team sees it. Test whether engineers who find exported example flows or docs start a paid trial, and whether they bring in their teammates.
- First customers
- Integration engineers at mid-market healthcare or finance companies of 200 to 2,000 staff who maintain custom Python scripts between legacy systems.
- Where to reach them
- Python and integration communities: Post worked examples of legacy-to-API flows in Python forums and on GitHub, linking to the free trial.
- Direct outreach on LinkedIn: Message integration leads in healthcare and finance with a short offer to migrate one script into a flow.
- First milestone
- Five paying teams in one vertical, each running at least one production flow for 30 days.

RisksAI inference
- CommercialEnterprise buyers in regulated sectors may need audits and on-premises options before they trust a new vendor, which could slow the first sales.
- TechnicalRunning customer Python code safely, with isolation and reliable delivery, is hard to get right and costly if it fails.
- CommercialTeams already have scripts, gateways and queues. Switching must be clearly cheaper than keeping them.
- RegulatoryMessage payloads may hold health or financial data, so hosting them could trigger compliance duties such as HIPAA or similar rules.
- DataThe only evidence is one GitHub repository's star growth. It shows interest, not that buyers pay for this.
