ScreensConcept
Mobile app: Farm operators work in fields logging jobs, tracking inputs, and coordinating crews in real time with weak signal; work happens where the fields are, not at a desk. Sample screens on a phone, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Furrowbook is a farm management app for operators and managers of small to mid-sized farms. Draw your fields on a map, log the work done in each one, track what you use and what is left, and see the season in one place.
It replaces the mix of spreadsheets, notebooks and general-purpose business software that fragmented setups rely on. Screens follow farm jobs, not accounting modules, so a crew member can log a spray or a harvest in a few taps.
Pricing is per farm and scales with acreage, so a small operation does not pay for features built for a large one. Records can be exported at any time.

- Why this name
- A furrow is the line a farm is worked in, and book means a record. Two plain words, easy to say and spell.

From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Users invite others. The farm owner invites crew, family and an advisor or bookkeeper to log work and view tasks. Each invitee uses the app in the same farm workspace.
- Do they become customers?
- Invited crew rarely buy for themselves, but advisors and contractors who work with several farms might. Test whether they bring their other farm clients.
- First customers
- Owner-operators of mixed crop farms of 100 to 500 acres who run their records in spreadsheets and paper notebooks, in one region.
- Where to reach them
- Local farm groups: Present at co-op meetings and extension events, and offer a free season setup.
- Farm forums and groups: Share the free tier in online farming communities and collect feedback on the work log.
- Farm advisors: Offer advisors a free account to use with their clients' farms.
- First milestone
- Ten farms in one region log work weekly for a month, and five of them pay for the Farm tier.

RisksAI inference
- CommercialThe material shows only GitHub interest and no named competitors or prices. Willingness to pay among small farms is unproven and must be tested.
- TechnicalReliable offline sync and conflict handling when several crew members edit the same records is harder than it looks.
- CommercialFarms may be reluctant to leave existing spreadsheets, and free open-source tools may set a low price expectation.
- DataBoundary and yield data is sensitive. Clear ownership, export and deletion terms are needed to earn trust.
