About this appAI proposal
Tillroom is a mobile-friendly web app that sits on top of a headless commerce backend. It gives the people who run the shop one place to watch orders, stock, refunds and failed webhooks. Adapters connect it to different backends, so one agency can look after many shops from one screen.
It is built for agencies and developers who ship custom storefronts, and for the merchants they hand them to. The developer wires up the adapter once. The merchant gets a plain console on their phone, without getting the keys to the backend.
Scripts and AI agents can already change prices, issue refunds or restock items through an API. Tillroom puts those actions in a queue with limits and a stated reason, so a person can approve, reject or undo them from a phone.

- Why this name
- A till is where a shop takes money. A room is where you sit and keep watch. Together: a calm place to run the shop.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Adapters for several backends
Read orders, products and stock in one common shape. Start with a few open-source backends and write your own adapter against a small TypeScript interface.

Agent action queue
Agents and scripts propose changes with a reason. You approve, reject or undo each one. Set auto-approve limits, such as refunds under a set amount.

Client handoff view
Give a merchant a branded, limited console. Hide settings and keys, and show only the orders, stock and tasks they need.

Webhook watch
See which storefront and payment webhooks failed and why. Replay them from your phone before a customer notices.

PricingAI proposal
Anchored on the verified pricing pages in the material: Medusa lists $29 to $299 a month and WooCommerce lists $25 a month. Tillroom adds no commerce hosting, so it starts at the low end. Tiers are a starting point to test.

From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Agencies send merchants a branded client view link and weekly shop digests. The merchant sees the Tillroom name in the console and in alert emails from their agency.
- Do they become customers?
- Merchants who see it could become paying only if they run several shops or work without an agency. Test whether any ask to use it on their own, or whether agencies stay the only buyers.
- First customers
- Small web agencies of 3 to 15 people that build custom storefronts on open-source headless backends and still support clients after launch.
- Where to reach them
- Backend communities: Join Discord and GitHub discussions of open-source headless backends. Offer free adapters to maintainers and agencies there.
- Open-source adapter repo: Publish the adapter interface and two sample adapters. Developers find Tillroom through the code.
- Direct outreach to agencies: Message agencies listed as partners by headless backends. Offer a free setup for one client shop.
- First milestone
- Ten agencies connect a live shop and five pay for Studio within 60 days.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalOne common data shape over many backends will lose detail. Each adapter needs upkeep as backend APIs change, and scope may need to start with one or two backends.
- CommercialAgencies may not pay for a console when backends ship their own admin. Demand for a cross-backend, phone-first view is untested.
- PlatformBackend vendors could restrict API access or add similar approval features to their own admin.
- DataHolding customer orders and API keys for clients raises privacy and security duties. A leak would end trust with agencies.
- AIAgent approvals only help if agents propose clear actions. Reviewers may approve in bulk without reading, which weakens the safeguard.
