About this appAI proposal
Cleartrace is error tracking built for Flutter teams that ship obfuscated release builds. Upload the .symbols files from your build, and every crash arrives with real function names, files and line numbers instead of encoded addresses.
It replaces the routine of fetching symbols from CI artifacts, running flutter symbolize in a terminal and pasting the result back into a ticket. Decoding happens when the error comes in, so everyone on the team sees the same readable trace.
It is made for small mobile teams releasing to the App Store and Play Store who follow the official obfuscation advice and do not want to give up readable crashes to do so.

- Why this name
- Says what you get: a trace you can read. Two plain words joined, easy to say and spell.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Automatic de-obfuscation on ingest
Incoming Dart AOT traces are decoded as they arrive. Nobody has to run a CLI to read a crash.

Symbol upload from CI
A small command or CI step sends the .symbols files after each build, tagged by app, version and platform.
No member yet
Build matching
Each crash is matched to the symbols of the exact build that produced it, so older releases stay readable.

Missing symbols alerts
If a crash comes from a build with no uploaded symbols, you are told which build and how to fix it.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Reached through search, Flutter community posts and docs on obfuscated traces. Crash alerts go only to the team's own members.
- Do they become customers?
- Nobody outside the team sees the product, so growth depends on content and community. Test whether Flutter developers searching for this problem sign up and upload symbols.
- First customers
- Small Flutter teams of 2 to 10 developers shipping obfuscated apps to both app stores, who decode traces by hand today.
- Where to reach them
- GitHub issue threads: Answer people asking for Dart symbol support in other tools and offer free setup.
- Flutter communities: Share a guide on symbolizing traces, with a CI snippet for uploads.
- Search content: Write pages for searches on reading obfuscated Flutter stack traces.
- First milestone
- Ten Flutter teams upload symbols from CI, and five pay within 60 days.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalThe .symbols format and Dart trace format may change between Flutter releases, so the parser needs ongoing upkeep and tests against each new version.
- CommercialSentry and Firebase Crashlytics already decode Dart AOT traces, so a new tool must win on simplicity and price, not on this feature alone.
- TechnicalTeams need an SDK or ingest path in their app. Without a Flutter SDK that captures traces, the decoding has nothing to work on.
- DataSymbol files and stack traces reveal app internals, and teams will expect strict access control, encryption and deletion.
