About this appAI proposal
Spawnyard is a control panel for people who run several game servers for players. Connect your own machines, deploy a server from a template, edit its settings, watch its health and decide who can get in. All from a browser or a phone.
It is built for hosters and community operators who now juggle Docker commands, config files and a panel tied to one provider. Spawnyard installs a small agent on any host you control, so your servers stay on your hardware and you are not locked to a vendor.
The panel can be used as a hosted service or run on your own box. You get one view across all hosts, shared access for your moderators, and an install that works on a phone when something breaks at night.

- Why this name
- A spawn is where a game starts; a yard is a place where you keep many things in one lot. Together: a home for all your servers.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Connect any Docker host
Install a small agent on a VPS, a home machine or a rented box. Servers stay on hardware you choose, with no provider tie-in.

Templates for deploying servers
Start a server from a template with ports, volumes and variables filled in. Save your own templates and reuse them on any host.

Config editor with history
Edit settings files in the browser. Each save is kept, so you can compare and roll back a bad change in a click.

PricingAI proposal
The material gives no competitor prices. It shows one open-source panel with no licence cost, so a free tier is needed. These tiers are a starting point to test.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Users invite others. Operators invite co-admins and moderators to a team, each with limited rights per server. Those helpers work in the panel daily and often run their own servers, so they see the product from the inside.
- Do they become customers?
- Invited moderators are real operators who could start their own account. Test how many invitees create a second workspace within 60 days. Players who only view a status page see the brand but are not buyers.
- First customers
- Small community game server hosters running 5 to 30 servers on rented VPS machines for one popular sandbox or survival game, who now use Docker by hand or a self-hosted panel.
- Where to reach them
- Game admin Discords: Join operator communities for one game, help with setup questions and offer free hosted workspaces to a few admins.
- Open-source panel forums: Answer questions where users of self-hosted panels ask about multi-host setups and offer a migration guide.
- Short setup videos: Publish a ten-minute video on moving a Docker server into a panel, aimed at people searching for that task.
- First milestone
- Ten operators run at least three servers each for a month, and five of them pay for the Operator tier.

RisksAI inference
- CommercialA free open-source panel with a large following already exists, so many operators may see no reason to pay. Demand must be proven among those who want hosted convenience or multi-host views.
- TechnicalThe host agent needs secure remote control of Docker. A flaw could expose customers' machines, so authentication, updates and least-privilege design need careful work and review.
- PlatformGame vendors change server software, file layouts and licence terms. Templates may break and need constant upkeep for each supported game.
- RegulatorySome games restrict commercial hosting of their server software. Templates and paid use must be checked against each game's terms.
- TechnicalLive console streaming and metrics over a PWA with intermittent mobile connections add complexity and may need more than the shared stack handles.
