Desktop and mobile: Engineering teams set up and review dashboards at a desk, but check pull requests and approvals on phones while away from their workstation. Sample screens on a computer and a phone, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Tideline collects commits and pull requests from GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket through webhooks and shows them in one timeline. Engineering leads and team members can see what shipped, what is waiting for review and what has gone quiet, without opening three platforms.
Ask a plain question such as "What merged last week in the billing repos?" and get an answer that links back to the commits and pull requests behind it. The same questions work from Slack, and a scheduled digest goes to a channel or to email.
Tideline is built for teams whose code lives in more than one place, for example after a merger, a migration or a client project. Every answer shows its sources, so you can check it instead of trusting it.

- Why this name
- A tideline marks where water has reached. Tideline shows where work has reached across every Git host, in two plain words.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
One timeline for every host
Commits, pull requests and reviews from GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket in a single filterable feed by team, repo or person.

Webhook setup in minutes
Copy one endpoint and secret per repository. Tideline shows which hooks are live and flags any that stopped delivering.

What it could be worthEstimate
What a software business making this much sells for today, from real deals. Pick a monthly revenue.

Worth about
$190,000
Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Weekly digests and answer links are posted in Slack channels and sent by email to people who may not use Tideline, such as managers, clients and other teams.
- Do they become customers?
- Readers see the digest but may not own the setup. To test: how many digest recipients click through and start a workspace, rather than only viewing.
- First customers
- Engineering leads at agencies and small software companies of 10 to 50 developers whose repositories sit on two or more Git hosts, often after an acquisition or client work.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News and dev communities: Post a Show HN and answer threads about multi-host Git setups, offering the free one-repo tier.
- Direct outreach to engineering leads: Message leads on LinkedIn who list multiple Git hosts in job posts or tech stacks, offering a free setup call.
- Slack app directory: List the Slack app so teams that search for Git reporting find it.
- First milestone
- Ten teams connect repositories from at least two hosts, and five of them pay for the Team plan within 60 days.

RisksAI inference
- CommercialAn existing product already offers the same cross-host analytics, Slack bot and a free one-repo plan. Tideline needs a clear edge, such as source-cited answers or the review queue.
- PlatformGitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket can change webhook payloads or limits, and Slack app approval can take time.
- AIWrong answers about who did what would erode trust. Answers must cite sources and the model should only read stored data.
- DataWebhooks only capture events after setup, so history is empty at first. Backfill through each host's API adds work.
- RegulatoryPer-person activity data can be seen as employee monitoring, with consent rules in some regions. Team-level views by default may be needed.
