About this appAI proposal
Rowbell watches your Google Sheets and tells you when something needs a person. Set a rule such as 'any invoice unpaid after 30 days' or 'stock below 10', and Rowbell sends an alert by email or push, with the exact rows attached.
It is for business professionals, technology workers and freelancers who run daily work in a spreadsheet and are tired of opening it just to check. Connect a sheet, pick a range, and write rules in plain sentences instead of scripts.
Rowbell also turns any range into a read-only report link or a weekly digest for clients and teammates. They need no Google account and no install, and you stop copying numbers into slides by hand.

- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Freelancers and teams send report links and weekly digests to clients and colleagues. Each page and email carries a small 'Made with Rowbell' footer linking to sign-up.
- Do they become customers?
- Recipients are often business users with their own sheets, so some may sign up, but many only view. Test the footer click-to-signup rate and whether recipients create their own rule.
- First customers
- Freelancers and small agencies who track invoices or project hours in Google Sheets and report to clients each week.
- Where to reach them
- YouTube tutorials: Short videos on 'get an alert when a Google Sheet row changes', matching how users say they find tools.
- Search content: Pages for specific tasks like overdue invoice alerts in Sheets, each with a ready-made rule template.
- Freelancer communities: Offer free setup help in forums and groups, and ask for feedback on the report link.
- First milestone
- Ten paying freelancers or small agencies on Pro within 60 days, with at least half sending a report link to a client.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformGoogle OAuth verification for Sheets scopes can take weeks and may require a security review. Google could also add native alerts to Sheets.
- TechnicalPolling many large sheets hits API quotas. Change detection needs careful caching and per-user limits.
- CommercialUsers may judge native notification rules good enough. Paid demand for alerts and client reports is untested.
- DataReport links expose business data; wrong hidden-column settings could leak private figures. Needs clear previews and revocation.
