About this appAI proposal
Sparkshelf is a workspace for creators and small media teams. You drop in loose ideas, group them on boards, and move the ones that become real work into finished project pages. The same pages can be published as a portfolio, so showing your work is not a second job.
It is built for writers, video makers, designers and small content studios who keep ideas in a notes app and show work on a separate site. Sparkshelf keeps both in one place. Each published piece can link back to the notes and drafts behind it, and you choose what visitors see.
It installs as a web app on phone and desktop, works offline for quick capture, and syncs when you reconnect. Teams share boards and decide per project what goes public.

- Why this name
- A spark is a new idea; a shelf is where work is kept and shown. Two plain words that describe the path from one to the other.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Every public portfolio and project page carries a small 'Made with Sparkshelf' link, removable on paid plans. Visitors are mostly other creators, clients and editors.
- Do they become customers?
- Visitors are often creators who could sign up, but a click-through is not a customer. Test how many portfolio visitors start a free account and how many later upgrade.
- First customers
- Freelance video makers and writers with 2 to 10 pieces to show, who now keep notes in one app and a portfolio on another site.
- Where to reach them
- Creator communities: Post in freelancer and creator forums and Discords offering free portfolio setup in exchange for feedback.
- Build-in-public posts: Publish the founder's own portfolio on Sparkshelf and write about the process on social channels.
- First milestone
- Fifty published portfolios from freelance creators and ten paying Creator subscribers within 60 days of launch.
Why people already pay for this
- VerifiedA business in this market sold on Empire Flippers averages $6,089 a month in revenue ($4,095 net profit, $7,267 recurring), figures vetted by the broker

RisksAI inference
- CommercialThe material names no competitor and gives only one vetted listing, so how many creators would pay for ideas plus portfolio together is untested.
- PlatformInstalled web apps on iOS have weaker offline storage and background sync than native apps, which could hurt the offline capture promise.
- AIIdea suggestions may be unhelpful or feel intrusive. Content is private, so how it is processed must be stated clearly.
- TechnicalCustom domains, SSL and media hosting for many small portfolios add operating cost and support work.
