About this appAI proposal
Dialfar is a calling app for people who phone other countries and are tired of carrier rates. Open it, pick a contact or type a number, see the per-minute price, and call. It installs to your home screen from the browser.
Before every call you see the rate and the longest the call can run at your balance. After the call you see what you paid. You top up a balance or choose a monthly plan with a set number of minutes, so a long call never becomes a surprise bill.
It is built for individuals, not businesses: families split across countries, students, migrants and anyone with regular numbers abroad. The market evidence is public claims only, so rates and call quality need testing before launch.

What it could be worthEstimate
What a software business making this much sells for today, from real deals. Pick a monthly revenue.
If it makes
Worth about
$194,000
Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Calls go to people who do not use the app, and the recipient sees only a phone number. Growth comes from search, community posts and word of mouth in diaspora groups.
- Do they become customers?
- Recipients are not buyers by default. Test whether callers recommend it in family groups, and whether a referral credit makes both sides sign up.
- First customers
- Migrant workers and students in one country who call family in one destination country every week.
- Where to reach them
- Diaspora community groups: Offer free test minutes in forums and chat groups for one country pair, and gather rate and quality feedback.
- Hacker News and Reddit: Post an honest show-and-tell with real rates and ask for call quality reports.
- Search content: Publish pages on the cost of calling one country, with a live rate table.
- First milestone
- Fifty people in one country pair top up and make a second top up within 30 days.
Why people already pay for this
- Public claimInternational calling through standard phone networks is expensive compared to dedicated platforms
- Public claimThe platform has paying customers who validate the need for cheaper international calling
- Public claimUsers seek alternatives to carrier-based international calling

RisksAI inference
- CommercialMargin depends on wholesale call costs, which the material does not give. Rates may not beat carriers enough once payment fees are paid.
- TechnicalCall quality over mobile data and browsers varies, especially on iOS PWAs, where background calling and incoming audio are limited.
- RegulatoryCalling services face telecom rules, emergency call limits and number regulations that differ by country and need legal review.
- CommercialEvidence is public claims only. Users may already use free app-to-app calling and not want to pay.
- DataToll fraud and stolen cards can create costs before top-ups clear.
