Desktop and mobile: Control dashboard and monitoring of device pool happens at a desk, but live takeover and manual intervention on phones requires mobile access to the actual devices being tested. Sample screens on a computer and a phone, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Rackphone turns a shelf of real iPhones plugged into a Mac into a managed device pool. You queue workflows, watch any phone live, and take over by hand when a step needs a person. The control page is a web app, so a team can use it from any browser.
It is for marketing automation teams, app developers and growth teams who repeat the same iOS steps across many devices, such as account upkeep or app test runs. You keep the hardware and the data. You do not rent minutes from a cloud device service.
Unlike a cloud farm, devices are yours and the cost is flat. Unlike emulation, every run happens on a real phone. The Mac agent does the device work and the web app handles scheduling, access and run history.

- Why this name
- A rack of phones is the product. Two plain words joined: rack for the shelf of hardware, phone for the device being run.

From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Customers run Rackphone on their own hardware, so use stays inside their team. Reach comes through content, open-source communities and direct outreach, not through the product.
- Do they become customers?
- Nothing in normal use reaches new buyers. Test whether setup guides and comparison posts for self-hosted device pools bring in teams who start a free trial and then upgrade.
- First customers
- Small agencies of 3 to 15 people that manage social accounts for clients and already own or can buy a few spare iPhones.
- Where to reach them
- GitHub and dev forums: Post setup guides in discussions of open iOS device farm projects, where the GitHub interest was seen.
- Growth communities: Offer free setup help in marketing automation groups and show a live demo of a 5-phone shelf.
- Direct outreach: Message agency owners with a short video of scheduling and takeover, and offer a paid pilot.
- First milestone
- Five teams each pay for the Team plan for two months, with at least five phones in use each.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformApple may restrict how iPhones are controlled from a Mac, and iOS updates can break the automation layer. Each release needs testing on real devices.
- RegulatorySocial platforms may ban automated account activity. Customers could lose accounts and blame the product. Terms of use and a clear policy are needed.
- TechnicalReliable live video, USB hubs, power and heat across many phones are hard. Devices drop out, which can make the pool feel flaky.
- CommercialThe only evidence is GitHub interest in a similar open project. Free self-hosting could keep buyers from paying for a hosted dashboard.
- Intellectual propertyThe product may build on open-source device-control tools whose licences limit commercial use. These need review before launch.
