About this appAI proposal
Plainpay Jobs is a job search tool that job seekers pay for. Because employers do not fund it, it can show what job boards have little reason to show: how often a role has been reposted, and whether the listed pay sits well below the market average.
Save a listing and get a short read-out: a pay signal, a repost count and a plain note on what looks off. Keep a shortlist, compare roles side by side, and skip listings that keep coming back unfilled.
It is for active job seekers who are tired of guessing which postings are worth an application. It takes no money from employers.

- Why this name
- Plain pay, plainly shown. The name says the product speaks straight about salary and has no employer to please.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Seekers share a listing read-out link with friends or in job-search communities, showing pay signal and repost count.
- Do they become customers?
- Viewers are other job seekers who could subscribe. Test whether shared read-outs convert to sign-ups.
- First customers
- Active job seekers in one field, such as software support and operations roles in one country.
- Where to reach them
- Job-search communities: Share example read-outs in forums and subreddits for job seekers.
- First milestone
- Twenty paying job seekers in one field within eight weeks of launch.
Why people already pay for this
- Public claimThe builder has job seekers as paying customers rather than employers, enabling features that wouldn't work if employers paid for listings.
- Public claimThe product provides salary competitiveness signals by flagging jobs posted significantly below market average.
- Public claimThe product identifies potentially problematic job listings by tracking repost frequency.
- Public claimThese insights couldn't be provided if the employer paid for the job listing service.

RisksAI inference
- DataRepost history needs listings collected over time. At launch the signal is thin and builds only as data accumulates.
- PlatformJob boards may block collection of their listings in their terms or technically, cutting off the data the product depends on.
