About this appAI proposal
Steadyscreen is a web console for teams that run Android tablets as signs, dashboards, POS stands or check-in kiosks. Enroll a tablet once, pick the one app or web address it should show, and the device is held there: no home screen, no settings, no other apps.
You manage every tablet from a phone or laptop through an installable web app. Set the page to show, see which screens are online, push a change to a group, and get a message when a tablet goes dark. No one needs to walk to the device.
It is built for small teams that find per-device kiosk licences add up and want a plain way to keep a fleet in order. Home-automation dashboards are a first-class case, with a kiosk profile for a web view that stays logged in and wakes on schedule.

- Set the screen once. Keep it that way.

- Why this name
- Steady describes a screen that stays put on one task, and screen says what is being managed. Two plain words joined, easy to say and spell.

One-app lockdown profiles
Choose a single app or web address per profile. Home, recents and settings stay blocked, and the device returns to the app after a restart.

PricingAI proposal
Fully Kiosk's pricing page (verified) lists 2 paid plans at €1.18 a month; the material does not say per what. Tiers here are a starting point to test against that low per-device price.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Tablets run the kiosk page, but the Steadyscreen name is not shown to the public by default. Customers are reached through content, open-source community posts and search for kiosk setup help.
- Do they become customers?
- Home-automation hobbyists and small shops searching for kiosk setup could become paying fleet owners. Test whether people running 4 or more tablets pay for remote management.
- First customers
- Owners of small cafés, salons and clinics with 4 to 20 tablets used as menu boards, check-in screens or POS stands, run without a dedicated IT person.
- Where to reach them
- Open-source kiosk communities: Offer the free tier and the companion app in GitHub discussions and home-automation forums where people ask about locking tablets.
- Setup guides and search: Publish short how-to guides for locking a tablet to one dashboard or POS page, each leading to the free tier.
- POS installers: Contact local POS resellers who set up tablets and offer them a fleet console to resell or recommend.
- First milestone
- Ten small businesses each enroll 4 or more tablets, and five of them pay for the Fleet plan within 60 days.

- This app · Device managementAndroid device management API (device-owner mode)A web app cannot lock a tablet itself. Enrollment, lockdown policy and remote commands need Android's managed-device layer.
- This app · Kiosk player appSmall companion Android app, open sourceShows the chosen page full screen, reports status and applies schedules. Open source builds trust with the audience.
RisksAI inference
- TechnicalReliable lockdown depends on Android device-owner enrollment, which differs by maker and version and often needs a factory-reset tablet. Setup friction could hurt first-run success.
- PlatformThe product depends on Google's device management service and Android policy changes. Rules, quotas or pricing there could break features or margins.
- CommercialA free open-source alternative exists and the leading paid product lists a very low price. Users may not pay for a console on top of that.
- TechnicalA companion app plus a PWA means two codebases to keep working. A small team must maintain Android device compatibility.
- DataThe console holds device identifiers, page addresses and sign-in details for dashboards. A leak would expose customers' internal systems, so secrets need careful handling.
