About this appAI proposal
Praxisarchiv is a search tool for architecture and engineering teams. It indexes documents, drawings and revision histories from finished projects, so a planner starting a new job can ask what the firm already solved and see the source files.
It is built for European firms whose project knowledge sits in separate folders and in a few people's heads. Each result shows the project, the revision it came from, and the reason it matched, so a team can judge whether to reuse it.
Unlike a plain file search, it follows a detail across revisions and flags which version was built. Firms choose what is indexed and who can see which projects, so client-confidential work stays closed.

- Why this name
- Praxis means practice and Archiv means archive in German. Together they say the firm's practice is kept and usable. It is pronounceable across Europe.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Ask in plain language
Type a question such as 'timber stair in a listed building' and get matching documents, drawings and notes from past projects.

Revision-aware results
See which revision a result came from and whether it was the issued or the built version, before you copy anything.

Why it matched
Every result shows the passage or title block that matched, so teams can check relevance quickly.

What it could be worthEstimate
What a software business making this much sells for today, from real deals. Pick a monthly revenue.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Planners send reuse packs with source links to colleagues, consultants and clients who do not use the tool. Each pack carries the product name on its page.
- Do they become customers?
- Recipients are often outside the firm and may not buy. Test whether consultants who open packs ask for their own archive, or whether only firm-level sales convert.
- First customers
- Mid-sized architecture firms of 50 to 200 staff in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, starting with the head of design or digital practice.
- Where to reach them
- Direct outreach: Contact heads of digital practice on LinkedIn and offer a free pilot on one finished project archive.
- Industry events: Show live search on a firm's own past projects at regional architecture and construction meetups.
- Professional chambers: Offer a short talk on rework and knowledge capture through chambers of architects and engineers.
- First milestone
- Three firms run a pilot on real archives and two convert to paid Team plans within 90 days.
Why people already pay for this

RisksAI inference
- CommercialAn established product already serves leading European firms, per a public claim. A newcomer needs a narrower wedge, such as one discipline or one country.
- DataFirms hold years of files in many formats, including CAD and BIM. Poor import quality would make results untrustworthy.
- AIWrong or irrelevant matches on technical details could cause costly reuse errors. Results must always show sources.
- RegulatoryClient confidentiality and GDPR duties mean firms will ask for EU hosting and strict access control before uploading.
- TechnicalReading drawings, not just text documents, is hard and may need work beyond the first version.
