About this appAI proposal
Rungwise gives Dynamics 365 administrators a curated set of workflow building blocks that go past the native workflow builder: date maths, text handling, record lookups, loops and branches. Assemble them in a visual editor, with no custom code.
It is made for admins and power users at organizations without in-house developers. Every block has plain documentation, a test mode with sample records, and a run history that shows what each step did and why a run failed.
Free community add-ons exist, but they rely on volunteers. Rungwise is a commercial product: versioned releases, written support terms and an SLA on paid plans, so you know who to ask when a workflow breaks.

- Why this name
- A rung is one step on a ladder. Rungwise suggests climbing past a limit one clear step at a time, and it is easy to say and spell.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Curated advanced blocks

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Admins use it inside their own Dynamics organization. Little of its output is seen by people outside that team, so growth comes from content, community posts and direct sales.
- Do they become customers?
- Exposure is minimal, so acquisition rests on reaching admins directly. Test whether admins who now use the free community tool will pay for support and an SLA.
- First customers
- Dynamics 365 CRM admins at mid-sized organizations of 50 to 500 staff with no developer, in one vertical such as professional services.
- Where to reach them
- Dynamics community forums: Answer workflow-limit questions with worked examples built in Rungwise, linking to free templates.
- Dynamics consultants: Offer partners a discounted plan to use Rungwise for client automations.
- LinkedIn and how-to posts: Publish short guides on common workflow limits and their no-code fixes.
- First milestone
- Ten admins in one vertical run a live flow for 30 days, and five of them pay for a plan.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformDepends on Dataverse APIs and Microsoft changing its own workflow features; new native capabilities could shrink the gap Rungwise fills.
- TechnicalRunning flows reliably against many customer environments needs retries, rate-limit handling and tenant isolation, and an SLA raises the cost of failure.
- CommercialA free community tool exists with 505 GitHub stars; admins may not pay for support unless failures have cost them real time.
- DataCustomers must grant access to CRM records, which will need security review and clear data handling terms.
- Intellectual propertyBlock behavior must be built fresh and not copy the community solution's code or naming; its license needs checking.
