ScreensConcept
Desktop and mobile: Manufacturers quote and plan on desktop, but operators check work queues and record measurements on shop floors; the job record must flow between both places without rework. Sample screens on a computer and a phone, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Benchline connects the steps a small manufacturer runs every day: quoting a job, planning materials, tracking stock, running work orders on the floor and recording quality checks. One record follows the job from quote to shipment, so nobody retypes data between spreadsheets.
It is built for small and mid-sized producers that find large ERP suites too costly or too heavy. Operators use it on a phone or tablet at the machine. Every lot and serial number can be traced forward and back.
Your data stays yours: full export and a plain API for your own scripts and tools. It can be self-hosted or run as a managed service.

- Why this name
- A bench is where small makers work and a line is the path a job follows. Two plain words, easy to say on a shop floor.

Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Quotes, order confirmations and certificates of conformance go to customers and suppliers as links or PDFs carrying a small Benchline mark.
- Do they become customers?
- Recipients are buyers, who may run their own shops; most will only see it. Test whether any ask about the tool or open a trial from a shared document.
- First customers
- Contract machine shops with 10 to 50 staff that quote in spreadsheets and track lots on paper.
- Where to reach them
- Open-source communities: Share the self-hosted version on GitHub and forums, then offer managed hosting to those who want it.
- Local manufacturing groups: Demo at trade association meetings and regional industry events.
- First milestone
- Five machine shops pay for managed hosting and run live jobs from quote to shipment within 60 days.

RisksAI inference
- CommercialFree self-hosting may leave few reasons to pay; the managed tier must be clearly easier than running it alone.
- TechnicalPlanning, traceability and offline sync across many record types is a large scope for a first version.
- RegulatorySome industries need audit trails and signed records; claiming compliance without checking would mislead buyers.
- CommercialSwitching from spreadsheets needs data import and training, which can be slow for small shops.
- DataHosting production and customer data makes backups and uptime a serious duty.
