About this appAI proposal
Notely Room sends a notetaker to your Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom calls, records the transcript and turns it into a short summary, decisions and action items. One workspace holds every meeting, whatever the platform.
It is built for teams that meet often across several video tools and are tired of typing notes or paying for a service that only covers one platform. Every note links back to the exact moment in the transcript.
What is different: each meeting shows a visible, timestamped log of the notetaker's join, capture and summary steps, so you can see the work is automated. Notes can be sent to other tools or AI agents, and a self-hosted option is planned for teams with strict privacy rules.

- Why this name
- Notely says notes in plain words; Room points to the meeting room where all platforms meet.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. After each call the notes are sent as a shareable page to all attendees, including people outside the company, with the Notely Room name and a link to try it.
- Do they become customers?
- Attendees who read notes may be buyers who also run meetings. Test how many recipients click through and start their own account within 30 days.
- First customers
- Small agencies and consultancies of 5 to 30 people that run client calls across Zoom, Teams and Meet, led by an operations manager or founder.
- Where to reach them
- Founder communities: Post in agency and consulting communities with a demo of the join log and client-ready notes.
- Direct outreach: Message agency owners on LinkedIn offering a two-week pilot on live client calls.
- Open-source communities: Share the self-hosted plan where privacy-minded teams discuss meeting transcription projects.
- First milestone
- Ten agencies using it on real client calls for two weeks, and five converting to a paid plan.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformZoom, Teams and Meet can change bot join rules, admit settings or terms, which could break joining or require app approval.
- RegulatoryRecording calls requires participant consent in many places; the bot must announce itself and handle consent and retention.
- CommercialFireflies has a free plan and low paid prices, so a new entrant must win on trust and cross-platform ease, not price.
- AISummaries may miss or invent action items; every note needs a source link and users need easy correction.
- TechnicalRunning bots reliably at scale costs money per meeting minute and can squeeze margins on a free tier.
