ScreensConcept
Desktop app: Platform teams manage security-critical AI agent access, approval workflows, and audit logs from their desks with dense dashboards and detailed compliance tracking. Sample screens on a computer, in the proposed brand. Their numbers are sample data.

About this appAI proposal
Leash Desk lets platform teams give AI agents short-lived, narrowly scoped access to company services without handing over a person's full credentials. Agents ask for what they need; Leash Desk handles the OAuth steps, issues a limited token, and records the call.
Security and platform leads get one place to approve tool access, see which agent touched which service, and revoke access in a click. Approvals can be automatic for low-risk scopes and manual for sensitive ones.
It is built for organisations running many agents across many connected services, where tokens are scattered across tools today. It is an interim layer that follows the agent identity standards still being finalised.

- Why this name
- A leash keeps a helper close and controlled; a desk is where requests get reviewed. Two plain words, easy to say.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Time-bound delegation
Grant an agent access to one service and scope for a set time. Access expires on its own, with no shared user password or full token.
No member yet
One-click revoke
Cut off a single agent, a single service, or every grant a user has delegated, immediately and from one screen.

Approval workflows
Route sensitive scope requests to the right approver by link or email. Auto-approve low-risk scopes by policy.

OAuth handled for agents
Agents call one simple endpoint. Leash Desk runs consent, refresh and token exchange with each connected service.

Sale range $132,000 to $263,000
$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Reaches customers through direct sales, content and developer docs. Approval links go to colleagues inside the same company, who are already users or reviewers.
- Do they become customers?
- Approvers see the product but mostly work at the buyer already. Test whether platform teams adopt it from docs and a free tier, and whether security leads then pay.
- First customers
- Platform engineering leads at large companies running dozens of agents against many internal and SaaS services, such as e-commerce or retail firms.
- Where to reach them
- Hacker News and dev forums: Post a technical write-up on scoped agent delegation and invite platform engineers to a design-partner list.
- Direct outreach: Contact platform and security leads at enterprises that publicly talk about running agents at scale.
- Open spec content: Publish guides mapping the product to current IETF drafts to attract identity engineers.
- First milestone
- Three design partners running real agents through it, and two converting to paid Team plans within 90 days.
Why people already pay for this
- VerifiedHacker News post received 17 points and 3 comments
- AI inferenceTeams cannot give agents scoped, revocable access without providing full user tokens, forcing an insecure choice between credential sharing or fragmented token management.
- Public claimThe infrastructure gap is urgent in corporate environments because standards are not yet finalized and vendors have not released production-ready products.
- Public claimAt least one large enterprise (Zalando) is deploying agents at scale and needed this infrastructure: hundreds of agents connecting to dozens of services.

RisksAI inference
- TechnicalHolding refresh tokens for many services makes the vault a high-value target; a flaw would be severe and enterprise buyers will demand audits.
- CommercialEvidence is thin: one HN post with 17 points and a single large-company claim. Demand beyond big enterprises is unproven.
- PlatformIETF agent identity standards are still being finalised and may change token formats, forcing rework or making the product redundant.
- CommercialIdentity vendors and cloud providers may ship their own agent access features and bundle them with existing contracts.
- RegulatoryAudit logs of agent actions may contain personal data, raising retention and data residency requirements for enterprise customers.
