About this appAI proposal
Patchbook is a fleet dashboard for agencies and in-house teams that run several open-source online stores. It lists every extension installed on every shop, shows which are out of date, and flags updates that may clash with other extensions.
Connect a shop with a read-only key. Patchbook reads installed extensions and versions, groups them by client, and builds an update plan with a checklist of pages to test, so updates stop being a guess made on a Friday.
It starts with Shopware shops, where the material counts 3,100+ community extensions. It does not host stores or sell extensions; it keeps track of what you already run.

- Why this name
- A patch is an update; a book is the record agencies keep. Two plain words for a logbook of shop updates.

$120,000 a year in revenue
From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.
An estimate, not an offer or financial advice. A real price depends on profit, growth, churn, how much of the work is the owner's, and the buyer.
How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- Shared outputs. Agencies send clients a read-only status page showing updates and passed checks. The page carries a small Patchbook mark and a link to it.
- Do they become customers?
- Clients who view the page are shop owners, not agency staff, so few will buy. Test whether some clients ask their agency's rival, or in-house teams, to use it.
- First customers
- Small Shopware agencies with 5 to 30 client shops and one or two developers who handle updates and maintenance.
- Where to reach them
- Shopware community forums: Answer update and conflict questions, and offer free Solo accounts to those who ask.
- GitHub and Slack groups: Share an open checklist template for safe extension updates, linking to Patchbook.
- Direct outreach to agencies: Message agencies listed in the partner directory with a one-shop demo of their own data.
- First milestone
- Ten Shopware agencies connect at least 5 shops each, and three pay for Agency within 60 days.

RisksAI inference
- PlatformDepends on Shopware's admin API and extension data format; changes or limits could break the sync.
- CommercialAgencies may already track updates in spreadsheets or CI tools and not pay for a separate dashboard.
- DataConflict notes only help once many shops share the same extension pairs; early on the network is thin.
- TechnicalHolding access keys to client shops is a security target; a breach would harm agency trust.
- Intellectual propertyExtension names and vendor data shown in the product may need permission from extension sellers.
