About this appAI proposal
Thawdesk is a case desk for online merchants whose payment processor has frozen a payout. Connect your processor account and Thawdesk logs each hold when it appears, starts a clock, and keeps every message, document request and answer in one timeline.
It drafts specific messages to the processor, tracks replies, and reminds you when a stated deadline passes. When a hold drags on, you can hand the full case file to an advocacy partner who works for a share of the funds recovered.
Built for fast-growing fashion, handcrafted and other small ecommerce shops that cannot negotiate with a processor directly. It does not promise a release. It gives you a record, a plan and someone pressing the case.

- Why this name
- Thaw is what a merchant wants for frozen funds; desk says there is a place to work the case. Two plain words, easy to say.
In the first version
Members say which features they would use. It tells PWAS what people want; it changes no score.
Hold detection
Spots a paused or delayed payout in your processor account and opens a case with the amount, date and what the processor has said so far.

Hold clock

PricingAI proposal
The material gives no competitor price for this kind of service. Stripe's verified page shows only usage pricing (RON 1.50) for its own processing. These tiers and the success fee are a starting point to test.

From 87 software businesses listed and sold on Empire Flippers in the last year, revenue vetted by the broker: they sell for about 19× their monthly revenue, most between 13× and 26×.
Measured on profit, the middle deal is 32× monthly net profit: about 2.7 years of profit.

How it would growAI proposal
How the product would reach new customers through its own use, and how the first ones would be found. A plan to test, not a result.
- Built-in loop
- No loop in the product. Thawdesk is used privately, case by case. Messages go to processors and partners, who are not buyers. Reach comes from content on hold stories, merchant communities and partner referrals.
- Do they become customers?
- Merchants mostly search when a hold begins, so test whether Watch alerts convert to paid Desk before a hold, and whether people in a hold will pay at once.
- First customers
- Owners of small fashion and handcrafted-goods online shops with fast sales growth, who take card payments through one major processor and have had or fear a payout hold.
- Where to reach them
- Founder and merchant forums: Answer hold threads on Hacker News and ecommerce communities with a free hold checklist that leads to Watch.
- Shop platform communities: Post guides in seller groups for handmade and fashion shops on how to document a hold.
- Accountant referrals: Offer bookkeepers who serve small ecommerce shops a free Desk seat to refer clients in a hold.
- First milestone
- Ten merchants with an active or past hold use Watch, and five pay for Desk within 60 days.

RisksAI inference
- RegulatoryOffering legal help or acting for merchants may need licensed lawyers or specific rules by region. The advocacy part must run through qualified partners.
- PlatformProcessors may limit API access, ignore third-party messages or change terms. Connections and replies on a merchant's behalf may be refused.
- CommercialMerchants may only look for help once a large hold occurs, making demand lumpy. Success fees depend on outcomes Thawdesk cannot control.
- DataCase files hold financial and identity documents. A leak would end trust, so storage and access need strict controls from day one.
- AIDrafted messages or guessed hold reasons may be wrong. Output must be marked as suggestions the merchant checks before sending.
